If I could leave zero stars I would but Im giving one star because I did find the stroller I was looking for with no problems. My problem was actually getting an employee to grab it off the shelf which took about 15 minutes for someone to show up and me having to wait in line to ask a cashier, twice, for assistance. When I first walked up to the register, the employee actually stood behind her cashier and waited as if I was supposed to unload this massive box onto her counter! I literally stood there and waited for her to grab her scanner and walk the 4 feet around my cart so that she can scan my purchase. Wow right!?!? Purchase amount shouldnt matter but I did spend over $300.00 on a stroller, you think the cashier would at least say "thank you for coming in today" or "do you need assistance with that big-o box that barely fits in your cart so therefore you might need help actually getting it in your vehicle" nope, neither. AND on my way out there was a "manager" standing right in front of the exit door just staring at me as I was trying to maneuver my cart out the door; no help, no smile, no thank you. One thing I know for sure is this is the first and last. With really only two locations near Sacramento (Elk Grove, Roseville), this place needs to step it up big time!

I can see how Babies R Us has cornered the market on all things baby registry-ish. Strollers, diapers, clothing, bottles, cribs, breastfeeding stuff, etc. etc. Theyve got everything for us breeders. The process is simple: you go around with a scanner to come up with your perfect registry! I came here to buy some gifts for a friend and half the stuff was either out of stock or only sold online. Very frustrating! The store itself is quite massive and finding things on a registry list was akin to a scavenger hunt. Lets take for example BPA-free 9 oz. bottles. Located in Section A. Where the heck is that? The store isnt labeled accordingly. The SKU#s did not match up. The boxes were torn. I had to find a sales person who had to go back and help me. With the other stuff, she couldnt take me to the other parts of the store, it seemed they were short-staffed. By default, out of an entire list of registry items, it seems that I was quite limited to what I could actually purchase. So for future mothers-to-be, if you register at Babies R Us, be sure to list A LOT of things - you wont look greedy or needy, it will just make it a lot easier for the gift bearers!

I typically go here for almost everything since we get points towards further purchases. BUT this has happened at least five times. I rushed to grab a cool mist humidifier today for my super sick and crabby 4 month old. I noticed it looked open but was assured they check ALL returns- well guess what- I get back to auburn to open it and hook up for the baby and its missing a part to work!! Sigh!! So upset that I now have to go to Target and spend more for another humidifier and then go return this one to babies r us at a later time. Pretty much lost my business after today.

I love this place. Especially the registry deals. I never would have registered at target if I knew about the rewards program here. The employees here are always nice and I have never had a bad experience exchanging anything.
