So my husband and I go into this store often and purchase many many things throughout the year. We are treated very well by most staff members, being addressed by name and all. I agree with many posts where there are issues with the phone answering and yes I love best buy but sadly I will say Geek Squad is HORRIBLE and very costly compared to other competitors. They would do far better to close geek squad and expand there customer service area to ensure the wait times are cut down for customers. Weve purchased several items and had to claim the warranty that we always purchase and its been a smooth easy process. For this upset let me give a pointer if I may. There are many managers within the best buy on Tyler the main manager is Steve hes the general manager and I promise you customer service is his primary goal and hes wonderful at it!!! Next time you have an issue ask for Steve and yes (tell him Jeremy sent you) lol Ive witnessed first hand his support with myself and with other customers. He will make it right! As for geek squad and those needing computer service. I apologize ahead of time Best Buy but folks dont use Geek Squad you will pay and pay dearly not just money wise but also patience and delays. Ive found that staples now is giving best buy a run for there money and they are fixing computers and selling cellular phones. Ive used Staples for computer repaid and the same job geek squad wanted 169 to do Staples was only 69 bucks and was done in 2 hours!!!! The difference is geek squad grew to quick and relied on the fact there well known to carry them and because of this customer service has slipped big time! So use staples I promise you will love them. Finally, those going to best buy. Always price match!!! If you find it cheaper online (Amazon included) they will match it! And it still saves you on the cost to ship it plus u get it home same day!! With following these few simple steps Im sure youll see best buy Tyler really isnt all that bad. Call on phone ask for Steve or call during down times for store. First thing in morning or near closing time. And when u go into store make your feelings known. They cant change it unless we all stick together. Happy Shopping All!!

Horrible customer service. Went in to return headphones I received for my birthday (already owned a pair) with a gift receipt. The customer service representative took the GIFT RECEIPT and returned my gift to the original credit card that purchased my gift! So I let her know I did not purchase this gift because it was a present. She says "why didnt you tell me it was a gift?" I said I gave you a GIFT RECEIPT why do i need to tell you? She didnt check for ID and did not ask if i wanted it back on the card or as a gift certificate! Needless to say the General manger was also no help telling me "its policy we dont ask for ID" and he said "we only ask if its a gift during Christmas time" oh so its up to me to tell you how your supposed to return a product? So i left with no gift and with no apology for a huge mistake on their part. I live in Riverside but I will never be coming back to this Best Buy.

I was looking for a chromecast audio. After 5 employees attempted to help me, and being redirected to 3 different departments, I gave up. Nobody bothered looking it up in a computer or anything. I went to my car, pulled out my phone, bought it online, chose "pick up in store", and waited 5 minutes. I got a message saying my order was readyx went inside and lo and behold, they had my order. I told the lady at the pickup center and she said, and i kid you not, "oh, we just got a new shipment in." !!! In the 5 minutes i was away, 6pm, on a wednesday? Its not that we found where they SHOULD have been and they were sold out, its that nobody knew where they even were on display. Bad customer service

A lot of trouble to get them to honor a warranty. I have a 50 inch TV that failed under warranty which Best Buy falls to repair. I suspect that they are waiting for the warranty to expire to decide that the TV is not repairable so they do not have to honor the warranty. I have had three technicians come out to my house. Each with a four hour window which technician number two did not honor. He was an hour late to appointment, and never called me. Five hour wait this time. Each time I have had to hire someone to unmount the TV for the repair man. Each repair man acknowledges the same issue, yet the same problem is not resolved. I am scheduled to wait a minimum of four hours again

I purchased a television at this location, after a month it began to have problems. I had a one year warranty, so I decided to take the television back. When I got their I asked to speak to the night manager Sean Cox. I explained to him the situation, he responded by saying it wasnt his problem, after talking with him for a while he began to yell, which I found really unprofessional. He ended the conversation by saying get the f**k out of my store. I do not recommend ever buying anything from this location the staff is poorly trained and managed. For the high prices they have you would expect to get decent service.

I went in on 3/11/12 to return a plasma tv that stopped working after 3 weeks. From the monent i walked in, i was greeted and treated well. The customer service women were nice and articulate. The young man who brought the new tv out helped me into my car and was fast about bringing the new one from the back. I was looking at cameras and wasnt pressured to buy. My dad and I both couldnt stop talking about how well managed this Best Buy was compared to another weve been to. No issues, no problems. Thank you.

Horrible service, they are always in theyre little blueberry patch talking to each other and ignoring customers. When you ask for help they get mad like its your fault you are shopping there. I spent 30mins in the store and was completely ignored. Thats why people shop online, if your not gonna get any customer service, might as well shop online for cheaper prices. No wonder Amazon is killing them in sales.

OMG! I sat on hold for over 10 minutes before I hung up! To make matters worse, when I finally went in to buy what I needed, the staff were some of the most unhelpful, unfriendly, and unappreciative people Ive ever met. Im going to really need something badly that I cant get anyplace else for me to go back into this store again... Im pretty sure that Best Buy is the next "dead company walking."

Horrible costumer service, rude as f*&%. Besides offering me a product I obviously didnt need or want, the dude got butt hurt when i said "no thank you" and proceeded to say that the SD card I had chosen for my camera would finish "over killing" my camera. Dumb ass, he didnt even know what I needed the 32 g for. Not the first time I get bad costumer service. Def not comming here again.
