Victoria Gardens- The-what-the-hell-is-there-to-do-in-the-IE-MALL!! The "IE" also known as the Inland Empire. Yes, if you are from LA or the OC you wouldnt (or would be) caught dead out there. You really arent missing much. Ive heard its called the "Armpit of Southern California". In the IE"s defense the SMOG is all secondhand thanks to LA and the mountains in the IE not letting the Smog escape. Most people probably will never get farther east than the 15 Freeway, but thats okay!!! because on your way to Las Vegas you will pass by this mall on the left. There really isnt anything to do in Riverside. You can hit up the Tyler mall for no reason. You can visit sacred Indian land and make a donation to Casino Morongo or San Manuel Casino. You can go to the lame Ontario Mills that everyone knows about, but doesnt actually like. Try out the new Victoria Gardens! Well it was new when I first went X amount of years ago in college. The best way to describe the VG concept is to take the Santa Monica Promenade/ Downtown idea and mix it with some Outdoor OC mall like The District and then minus the glamor and prestige and then Ghetto-side it! ("And Then and Then and Then. NO AND THEN!"- Dude Wheres My Car. ) It truly does look like a downtown area. It is very difficult to drive though the middle, so they got that part of LA right. I just feel like something is off about this place... Let me give you a good analogy of this feeling.. Lets say I want to travel the world and see all of the best of Europe and Asia, but instead of traveling I go to Disney World. That is what this place is to a Real Mall experience. With all the joking and hating a side.. I still am a fan of this place. Its a like a little Oasis in the middle of the desert. You may not escape the 100 plus degree weather of the IE, but at least you can for a moment have a taste of the good life. There is nothing wrong with this place. It has a good selection of stores that people will actually shop at and not just Window Shop. Its better than most Outlet malls. Even if you go there just to watch a movie it beats watching it at Ontario or other theaters in the area. Parking near the theater can suck so make sure to get there early. Every since leaving Riverside, I have never gone back here, but I do think about this place and how it helped UCR Highlanders escape The Riverside that has NO RIVER! So, I will wave and blow a kiss next time Im on my way to Vegas. If you live in the IE, Just GO HERE! No excuses. If you live far away, maybe go its up to you. If you have a shopping itch and won money in Vegas cruise in to this mall to try it out.

Victoria Gardens is so posh and well maintained. It is almost like having a little piece of Beverly Hills or Orange County right here in Rancho Cucamonga. There is just a different attitude when you step foot at Victoria Gardens. Everyone is so well mannered and polite and decent. There is an incredibly wide variety of stores and restaurants available here. The security has a strong presence so I feel safe leaving my car parked anywhere in this area. There are parks and play areas for little children to play as you walk around this beautiful, well manicured mall. They have a train that children can ride that gives a little tour of the center of Victoria Gardens. Not to mention the fact that they are animal friendly, so it is not unusual to find people walking their dogs around Victoria Gardens while they shop. It is about time that Rancho Cucamonga stepped up its game and offered something more upscale and decent to its residents.....Victoria Gardens is a wonderful contribution to the community.

A really nice & pleasant place to shop & eat or just to walk around if you want to just get out of the house. People are hanging out here whether its raining or over 100 degrees.. seems to be a safe place to drop your teens off if they want to hangout with friends.. Ive dropped by son of a few times. Im the other hand, my sister, mom & I were going into one of the stores to pick up something & my mom wanted to stay in the car, because she wasnt feeling too well once we had got there. When my sister and I came back out to return to the car, my mom informed us that one of the security guards approached the car as asking my mom why was she sitting in the And telling my mom that she was not allowed to sit in the car while waiting for someone. He 50 questioned her making her feel uncomfortable. This was definitely reported to his boss, the disrespect and all. Other than the rude S.G. who hopefully isnt there anymore.. this is a descent place!!

Good place to take family and hang out (I am 56 yrs old w teen daughters). General atmosphere is good. I have not experienced any type of violence or too many shady characters (although Im sure there are some around). I would like more variety in TYPES of stores. Waaaay too many teenager and pre-25 yr old clothing stores. Suggestions: antique store, hobby store (models, trains, metal detectors, radio control planes-boats-cars-and drones, of course), guns, rifles and other weapons specialty store (gun control people can GASP! if necessary), over 40 yr old male clothing and shoe store, shoe repair shop, camera/video specialty shop, travel and expedition shop, etc. Bass Pro Shop nice to have closeby...but really...not part of the walking/strolling area. Is there a way to connect? All in all...a great place to have in our area. Thank you to whoever is responsible. Good job.

I come here with my 2 year old multiple times a week. The atmosphere is great! Sinatra style music is played though speakers throughout the mall, which I really enjoy! There is a great selection of stores, The Macys is so huge, it is seperated into two buildings 1) women, juniors, handbags, and cosmetics and 2) for mens, childrens, and home. You also have your choice of 3 different coffee shops (starbucks, the coffee bean, and seatles best at borders) Everything tends to be very clean and well kept. There is a lot of security about, and a police station, which always makes me feel pretty safe. During the holidays there is a giant tree (during the tree lighting ceremony previous years, they even made snow fall!), and there are decorations on every lamp post, also holiday music is played all over. Its wonderful!

I have lived in the area for more than 10 years and still enjoy going to Victoria Gardens from time to time. Last year (or maybe 2 years ago), they went through some renovations on one side of the mall and it looks way better than the non-renovated side. Hopefully they decide to finish the rest soon. Theres not many unique or high-end stores, but its a nice place to walk around, especially during Christmas. Theres an open area in the middle of the mall where sometimes outdoor yoga is held. They also have movie nights, which is pretty cool. Theres a big library if you need to study and an AMC (with alcohol). Downside is on weekends, theres always some obnoxious people driving around, revving their engines and blasting their music for us to revel in their "awesomeness." And unfortunately, they took out all the Pokéstops.
