I hate this Rite-Aid more than any store Ive visited in recent memory. Compared to every other Rite-Aid, this one always falls short. And that includes even the now-closed Rite-Aid in Downtown Seattle, which was like a homeless shelter with stuff for sale. Since Ive been in Pasadena, Ive visited this Rite-Aid store several times. Everything is laid out in a way that makes no sense and its impossible to find anything Im looking for. Most Pasadena natives must be privy to the uselessness of this store because the aisles are always clear. Perhaps the myriad of products that I dont need are laughingly mocking me like a set of twins at the end of the aisle saying, "Come play with us, Danny. Forever and ever and ever..." The staff, if I could find one of them, cant seem to find anything either. Usually if I search long enough, I eventually find the aisle that *would* contain my item, but it *doesnt* and thats *annoying.* How do you not have Nair? I know women be shavin, but some of us dont have that kind of time or precision. Why does every travel shampoo and conditioner you carry not have a mate of the same type and brand? If I wash my hair with Pantene and then condition it with Garnier, you must understand that my hair is at risk of smelling like nuclear trash receptacle from the warring chemicals in each. Why is your "food mart" comprised almost entirely of edible garbage? Half the items are candy bars, the other half are overpriced canned goods that I can get down the street at a real grocery store. And you dont have cranberry juice that is 100% juice. You are a pharmacy! If youve ever had a UTI, then you respect the medical value of this non-prescription item!! Unlike some of the other reviewers, I didnt use the pharmacy, which I understand is the reason we have Rite-Aid in the first place. Still, if I were Godzilla, I would stomp this place out of existence and put a Walgreens in its place. Well, Id have other people do it because if I were Godzilla, Id be too big to construct such a tiny store.

It gets one star because there is no option for ZERO. My wife and I brought in an emergency prescription for an acute and vision threatening medical issue on a Wednesday night. They gladly processed the insurance hold for it, but said they wouldnt be able to get it until Thursday morning. Thursday morning we went in and they said, "Oh, try in the afternoon." Thursday afternoon we called and they said it would be available Friday morning. Friday morning we called and they said come in the afternoon and it would be there. Friday afternoon we went in and they said they had some trouble and to try back Monday morning. They didnt call us to let us know about any problem, and when we asked they just kept stalling. When I asked what the problem was, they said they were having trouble getting it, and to try again Monday. So I called the Target a quarter of a mile away and they had it in stock, put it on hold for us, and waited while Rite Aid canceled the insurance reimbursement hold that they had already placed on the prescription they were unable to fill. Consequently, they have lost our future business.

this is a very, very upsetting experience. A few month back I ordered a print and had my husband pick it up 6 hours later just to find out that the machine is broken and they did not process the order. No warning, no information nothing. this time I ordered a card that I needed by tonight. the order was placed before noon so plenty of time. I was supposed to get an email confirmation when the print is done so I waited patiently for 4 hours. then I called. turns out the printer is broken -again- but they dont bother informing you. you could wait until your dead. there is no communication between the online system that takes the order and promises your prints to be done in 1-3 hours at a certain location and the actual store that does the job. Unless you call the store (or go for pickup) you wont know until it is too late. In my opinion absolutely unacceptable. My whole family used them for all the prescription medication and everything else but I guess this is the end of that. this is not the fault of the store, this is a serious issue of the company not giving a damn about the costumers.

After being a loyal customer for over ten years one day they just changed the ENTIRE staff. Since then the service has been awful. They are: Rude Unprofessional Not DETAILED Arent able follow Dr.s Orders faxed Arent able to throughly check the perscription They have: -Give me a perscription that wasnnt mine -Given my boyfriend medicine he was Allergic to because they didnt have the actual percription in stock -Not read my insurance card CORRECT so EVERYTIME I pick up they tell me that the insurance doesnt pay for it -Given me generic when my Dr. has repeatedly given them orders to give me brand name The only reason why I continue to go their is because its right across the street from my home. I have two business to run and no time for errands out of my way. Im have spoken to the manager regarding these issues and he agrees and admits that they detail oriented and apologizes. I jsut got off the phone with them and it still continues....

this is a good store (but my favorite is Sunset/Highland and my bromaster buddy, David...who thinks he is related to Craig Robinson, the actor known for "The Office," "Pineapple Express," and setting the bar wayyyy to high for impressionable clerks at Rite-Aid...back to AciDena Rite-Aid (credit Far East Movement), I received excellent customer service from very first day I went there and the store manager back-dated the 2/1 sales deal on their larger than anywhere cavalcade of Arizona Iced Tea products...and Im sure that had I lingered even longer the manager would have given me even more service, but I clutched my huge bag of cans just below belt high and skeedaddled out of there.

I was yelled at by a clerk today when I asked for the bathroom key. He wouldnt get me the key and he said I needed to ask another person at the register. I went to the register but the cashiers ignored me. Not wanting to interrupt everyone, I asked the same clerk if he could please help me find a key. He yelled at me in front of the whole store. I dont understand why you would yell at a customer who truly just needed a bathroom.

While everyone in SoCal knows that Rite-Aid is essentially a liquor store with a pharmacy tacked onto it this one is the worst of the worst, sort of like a homeless shelter annex with aisles of dusty merchandise and the massive double aisles of alcohol and one baffle uncooperative pharmacist. Only for the direst of emergencies venture into this place.

Ive come to this rite aid a couple times and every time Ive come theres never enough help. There is always one employee at the register and no one at ice cream, even when there is a long line. The cashier has attitude when asked for help and is in no way helpful. This store either really does need more employees or better customer service.

Do you like aggressive homeless people begging for money? Do you like pushy solicitors collecting money for a sketchy, probably fabricated charity? Then this Rite-Aid is for you! Besides that its fine as far as a Rite-Aid goes.
