I drove over an hour to get some supplies I needed for a conference/presentation call that I would be leading that night. I needed a new mouse since mine stopped working. I arrived and browsed, picking up several over items and then went to the counter. The cashier was new and the manager was helping him make sure to do everything right... I assume. When I arrived home, I began to unpack my staples purchases (only 1 paper bag full) and my $100 mouse was not among the merchandise! I was so angry since this was something I would need in the next few moments. I called Staples and spoke with the manager and they said I would have to drive back and get it. I told him that was outrageous to expect me to spend $30 in gas to pick up the mouse that should have been in my bag! I requested just to get a refund and he had me send him my receipt via email for him to take care of it. Its been 4 days now and I havent heard a word from anyone. I called customer service and they couldnt do anything either. So now Im in my office with no mouse, am out $100 and it doesnt seem to be a big deal to Staples at all!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! TERRIBLE COMPANY!! I will be taking my small business office supply needs elsewhere! Crooks!

Visited this store tonight about an hour before closing time. My 4 year old needed to go to the bathroom so my husband took her. There was poop smeared all over the stalls, no seat covers, toilet paper everywhere, dirty and DISGUSTING. When my husband reported this to Jesse, he said he would love to help but he didnt wear a "red shirt" so he cant clean the restroom. They girl that was working the register said she was going to clean the restroom at 9pm when they close. My husband told her that doesnt help, our daughter needed to go. Jesse told my husband that we should take her somewhere to go potty then. Seriously Staples? To top it off Jesse then told my husband (when he asked for his name) that this store is understaffed, not managed correctly and on a low budget. Spent $45.83 for a metal binder, pens and a notepad. My 4 year old was crying and saying she really needed to go potty and her tummy hurt! This establishment has ZERO customer service skills, no regard for their customers and they simply did not care. Tomorrow morning I will be returning my items and taking my business elsewhere. Horrible to say the least!

I brought in my computer to have a scan check done on it because I was hacked a couple of months ago. I paid a fortune to an online tech group to get rid of the hackers, Jose Pena, tech center supervisor was of great assistance to me, he detected viruses that the online techs did not get rid of, he tracked this company and found out they may not be a legit and he wrote a letter to Amex explaining the situation so that I can dispute those charges and get a refund. Best of all, I got my computer back in 24 hrs completely clean of viruses and this online tech company that overcharged me for unfinished and unsatisfactory service. I bought a 2 yr protection service for my computer from Staples and I couldnt be happier. Thank you, Jose Pena for excellent service and being a lifesaver!!!

Terrible tech department. Talked to two people in the store who said it would only take a few hours to install my new SSD drive. Went in to pick it up that evening and was told that the computer hadnt been touched and it would take them at least three days. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere. Ive been buying my computers there for ten years, and they blew all that goodwill in just a few hours. And another thing. I tried all afternoon to reach a human on the phone in that store and ended up having to go in in person. Not acceptable. Im done.

Place sucks dude im a pasive stoner but i been their 4 time waited in line 4 times never got a response i can see why Californian get upset your dealing with help like that it sucks!! I lost plenty of time i missed my event at a compation i didnt have my lable three weeks no call. They suck for realz. I hope they get it together no one deserves to go threw a let down specially from a great name like Staples :) good luck out their.. Im not coming back ever i rather get shot or hit by a bus!!

Horrible. Just horrible the guys there do not know what customer service means. All I needed was just some color copies but nobody wanted to help. They even avoid eye contact so I wouldnt ask for help. Pretending to be to busy staring at a screen. I went to FEDEX PRINT across the street and everybody was helpful and didnt treat me like I was a pain. I was out of there in three minutes not to mention THE COPIES ARE CHEAPER! thanks staples team. You just send me on the right direction

I have been doing business with Staples for several years now. When they moved the store from Cat City to Palm Springs, I gladly drove the extra 3-4 miles. I have never before experienced a more friendlier staff of employees and managers in a retail store. I was reading the first review and Iam amazed that EDDIESYOGURT would portray a fictitious person as the complaining patron. WOULD YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THEM?

I was browsing around the tablet section and a gentleman by the name of Alberto started helping me. He is very knowledgable about tablets and was able to answer all my questions thoroughly. I ended up getting the Nexus 7 which Im very happy with. I was very satisfied with my shipping experience there. Ask for Alberto if you are shopping for tablets or computers.

Called for information on laminating - put on hold for a considerable amount of time, then person who answered didnt have information so transferred me to another. Meanwhile I called Office Depot on another line and they answered immediately and the person answering also had the information I needed. Poor customer service at Staples.

I use the copy center weekly and have had occasion to use the computer sales staff. The local store and service is excellent. The national support center sucks big time. Once, when the copy machine I utilize was down, I had to shop at Office Depot. It was then that I realized how good Staples was/is!

Their business card printer is poor quality for images (red like tone). However they took care of it like a pro. They made sure I wasnt charged for the inconvenience and ordered free cards sent from the factory. Great service. Great job Staples.

Worst customer serice....in fact no customer service. They stand around and talk to each other. 2 customers standing in computers cant get help but they can run out and laugh/curse with friends!
