I went here for nipple piercings for my 18th birthday. Because the piercing is in such an intimate place, its illegal to perform this piercing on anyone under the age of 18. Plus they should ALWAYS ask for permission or ID, right? Yeah well when I went there, I walked in and asked how much it would be, one of the tattoo artists sitting there said, "you have to be 18" and I told him I was. He then said "you dont look it". As I went to reach for my ID, this lady walks in saying shes the owner and the piercer there. She sweeps me off to a private corner of the shop to talk. I think her name was "Carla" or something like that. I think "thats great! Ill feel much more comfortable if its a woman!" She was a very smooth talker and made me feel safe and trust her. BIG MISTAKE!!! Im nervous and excited and honestly kind of on an Adrenalin rush, so I for some reason (stupid me) didnt think it strange when she DIDNT ask for ID, DIDNT have sterile jewelry (she claimed it was "cold sterilized"), DIDNT wash her hands or wear gloves-only used hand sanitizer (I also noticed she had the longest nails Ive EVER seen), DIDNT open a new needle, and used a paper towel as the place-mat to put everything on the counter. After the piercing was done and she went to put the barbells in, it was such a tight fit on one side that she struggled for several minutes to screw the ball on the end. A couple hours later, after the rush wore off and I looked more closely, I realized that not only were the piercings crooked, one side was WAY too deep. I honestly thought it would do permanent damage it was so deep. Not only that, but the jewelry she gave me was WAY too small. I decided to leave them in, hoping I would get used to them or that it was only due to swelling that it looked so off. I also liked the piercing themselves and didnt want to spend ANOTHER $80 and the pain to try again without seeing if I could learn to like them. After a couple months, one side was healing fine and, miraculously, I hadnt gotten some terrible infection. But the other side simply wouldnt heal and the barbel was so tight that it sunk almost completely into the surrounding tissue. When I finally took it out and let it heal up, there was a large indent that took a LONG time to heal and there is still a large scar. Im still worried I have some kind of blood-born disease; Im planning on getting tested soon. Moral of the story: IF ITS FISHY, WALK AWAY!!!!

I worked at body accents in palm desert. I was trading services with the owners husband in exchange for auto repair. They decided not to have me work with them so the husband dismantled my car then reassembled it and gave my car to their daughter. I was without a car from this and gave me panic attacks for years afterward. Carla Posamato Lytle was one of the rudest people I had ever met and screamed all the time instead of talking in a lower voice. Also after a while all of her artists left the shop because they could nolonger stand her This is true
