This location has a unique, friendly feel to it. Its always clean. JR really listens to requests that you make, and takes time to draft what you want to your liking. He takes his time when doing any tattoo to ensure every part of it is clean and what you expect. With this in mind, he understands time management is an important skill in order to give everyone a great experience. Scheduling in advance is important, so that he can make a spot just to attend to you, and have time to draft the tattoo before hand. While you are getting your tattoo, he is very patient in making sure you are comfortable, and he is a captain conversationalist, taking your attention away from the discomfort of the tattoo. Its been the best experience Ive had getting my tattoo from him and I will go nowhere else

JR did an amazing job on my tattoo. I took a lot of time to research his previous work and loved his style. He worked with me a lot before I came to get a feel for what I was looking for as I lived out of town. Once I came to Caldwell his ideas made it super easy to decide on how I wanted to proceed with my tattoo. He was very professional while also having an entertaining and awesome personality. His parlor was clean and he was very accommodating. He balanced time between sitting and taking a break well, as I was in there for about a good 7 hours getting my piece done. It came out beautifully, and healed very well. I will definitely be hitting him up again in the future once I decide on what to do next. Thanks JR, youre the man!

J.R. was super nice. I waited until I could schedule with him to get my nose pierced because all of his reviews were great. He cleaned piercing instruments in front of me, explained the process, named all the tools he was using, nonchalantly verified his credentials, made sure I was comfortable, walked me through the aftercare process until I was confident, and was just a really easy person to talk to. I would highly recommend him for piercings!

My mom and I wanted matching tattoos but she was nervous about it since it was her second one. We went in and he had her watch him open everything up from the packaging, everything was clean and new, and put everything together. After the tattoo was done, he had her watch him break the needle and properly dispose of it. He is fun, creative and trustworthy. I have six tattoos done by JR.

I have two tattoos done by him and they get so many compliments , I would never go any where else! He did my belly piercing as well and it was a slight pinch and done! His studio is super clean too! He shows you the equiptment he is going to use by taking it out of the packages in front of you... Super comforting!!!! I very much recommend JR and his mad skill!!!

He also has a HUGE selection of jewelry, more than any shop Ive been to in the entire valley. I cant recommend him enough. From the time I first started getting inked the shop had just opened it has been a great shop from the very start everything form the jewelry to the ink and the atmosphere is nothing like anywhere else here in idaho if you want quality and a comfortable and amazing place to get some ink piercing or just to come in a hang out look no further then this shop

Blue ring has a awesome artist. Owner operater. That means he stands behind his work 110%. Everything he does is spot on from his awesome art work to his high quality machines. Good machines means a light hand not a drill session. I have been there several times and its the ONLY place I will go. Check him out!!!!
