I went into the store once to ask him about custom making a 3 stone ring for me. He showed me a wax he was working on, so I know he does make jewelry. He looked at the picture I had and just told me to order it online. He was so dismissive that I didnt bother telling him that I couldnt order it b/c blue nile wont sell it to you unless you buy all your stones with it. That was over 1 year ago. I went back today b/c I found someone to make my 3 stone ring. I wanted to unset my diamond, and to set some stones into earrings. Once again he was dismissive- basically he told me he wasnt going to do anything I asked him for price quotes on. I want to stimulate my local economy, but this guy makes it VERY difficult.

I brought 6 pieces (mostly Tiffany necklaces) in to be cleaned. The guy at the counter never said "hello" or "how can I help you" or anything. As I took my jewelry out one at a time, he just kept saying "no" with no explanation beyond "that will hurt my hand" (what?!) and when I asked him where I could bring them, he shrugged his shoulders. Super helpful, dude.
