I dont consider myself a worldly person, but I do like how this establishment lends something new to Made in India/Vietnam/... Most of my furniture comes from here. This means I graduated from Ikea and moved on to solid wood and solidly built. Only looking at the furniture, and especially when jumping on a deep discount sale opportunity, you really feel like youre getting your moneys worth. Looking at the usual crowd, I get the sense that people with *money* deem this brand worthy of having a place in their multi-million dollar homes, so that must mean something. The staff are friendly enough, and I might even encounter one that is really friendly, which has happened twice now and is a big part of why I keep coming back. I can imagine people furnishing their entire homes from this place alone. I prefer it over Crate and Barrel for whatever reason. But I imagine people who shop at one likely shop at the other as well.

At check out I was asked to put my basket back where I got it. Ive been out of the country for a few weeks, but the last I remembered, this is an employee duty. The rather obese woman at the check out counter apparently didnt want to get up. Then she made some personal remarks about my purchase. I do not appreciate editorial about items I purchase. All it was were some cookies and Lindt chocolate. Bad form.

Theres a wide selection of things here. I tend to stop in for cheap, but cool, costume jewelry, wine, snacks from around the world + greeting cards. But, you can also get furniture and other household goods. Ive found the staff at this store exceptionally helpful.

The wait line to checkout was horrendous today when I went there. With over 20 people in line, there were only two cashiers. And one of the cashiers even when seeing such a huge line went over to chat with a customer while we all waited!

Cost Plus is our neighborhood go to for misc kitchen items and beer. Lots of well priced fun seasonal items to browse. Were club members & get email about discount sales. Staff is consistently friendly & helpful.
