Gary is the worst employee I have ever came into contact with in my entire life. I had to create an account just to warn people never to support this store in any way. I had to file a report to the Better Business Bureau just because of the disrespect and discrimination I received from the moment I walked in the door until I left. This store should not be supported or even considered for any purchases. Its not just Gary, every single employee that was working that day gave me their own share of rude and ignorant remarks. I dont even know where to begin. I have lived and shopped in Orange County my entire life and never have I met someone in sales as rude and disrespectful as Gary. First let me confirm remarks by other commenters on yelp. Just as Jenn S. B. Said. Fredric H. Rubel has poor customer service on the Management side! Just as Eamon S. Said, I too hope no one is ever served by Olga, and I too received rude remarks and insults from Olga and Gary who are there to serve, not to pass judgements. Just as Tina S. Said I will not be going back and will be recommending people to never step foot in that store ever again. Now for my story. I received the worst service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I walked in Rubel Jewlers store in Mission Viejo mall with the intention of purchasing two new Rolexes today. From the very first moment I walked in I was treated disrespectfully by the three employees working there. First the woman was giving me dirty looks. When I inquired about the exact watch I was interested in purchasing that they had on display, she did not want to give me any information about it. Giving me vague rude answers about the price. Every question I asked she had an awful smirk on her face while answering. I walked in with the intention of purchasing two watches around 20 grand each today. I had cash, credit, and debit ready to make the purchase. In the middle of trying to get any information about what I wanted to purchase, Gary walked out of the back room. He was even more disrespectful and rude than the women. When I inquired about the exact watch I wanted, he wouldnt give me a single straight answer about it. Even asked for my ID! Treated me like I was a delinquent, which is hilarious to me when I clearly make a higher annual income than he ever will. When I found out the watch I wanted was about $15,000 less than I had imagined. I was ready to purchase. However, he literally said the words, " I wouldnt like to help you." And recommended me to a Swiss watch store in the mall. (That sells hundred dollar watches. Insinuating that I didnt have the means to purchase the watch I was inquiring about) That man is a fool and shouldnt be anywhere near a job that is required to speak to customers. Dont they make commission? What would be the reason from turning down what could have been a loyal customer. If I had gotten decent service. I would have came back. Also I was there to purchase TWO watches today and I got turned away because the employees who worked there were rude and awful at their job. I will be reporting this to every review website I possibly can. I am disgusted with the way that man treated me just because I was young. He is obviously a fool, to judging someone without knowing their background. In addition, I made it clear that I wanted to purchase a watch. They referred me to every other place, even South Coast Plaza which he said had more of a selection after he told me he would not like to help me. Absolutely disgraceful. Not only will I leave this place the reviews that they clearly deserve , but I will also turn away many people that I could have recommended to get you guys business, because of your horrible service, additude, and disposition on life. How dare they show me disrespect because of my age. They are there to serve. They are grown men and women working at a hardly high end jewelry store. Yet they acted like they were better than me, treated me with disrespect, were openly rude with me and insulting me. I expected better from this establishment.

I was absolutely shocked at the review denigrating Reubel As I have patronized three of their stores for more tha 20 years. I have never had a bad experience. We have purchased a Rolex, an Ebel, several pieces of gold and gemstone jewelry. We were always treated politely and fairly. Recently I took my Ebel watch in to the Mission Viejo store to be serviced for a battery , polished, and checked out . Granted they sent it out for the work which included a new crystal but this is standard for a high end watch ($20K+). The staff was polite as always even though I was not buying anything at the time just needing service. I was advised of the cost of all the work before committing to it. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally. I have always felt Fred Reubel and his staff to be honest, friendly, and a pleasure to work with.

I went to this jewelry store just to get my ring checked and I was assisted by Heather S. and I was very happy with the service she provided me even though she knew I was not going to buy anything. She was very patient and answered all of my questions with my ring that I had bought from another place. She is very knowledgable and honest and made me feel at ease from the beginning. I did end up buying something but there was absolutely no pressure. I have gone back a second time and received the same excellent service as I did the first time. I would definitely go back to her for any of my jewelry needs from here on out.

Went in to look for a Rolex Submariner, blue face, and they had one. I was pleasantly greeted by Valerie, the store manager. She took her time and fully explain the function of the watch and the benefits of buying one. Valerie could not have been any nicer or more professional. Needless to say I did buy the watch there was no sales pressure and I could not have been any happier in making the purchase. The store and everyone in it was very nice and very professional I would highly recommend the store if youre looking for a high-end watch without the annoying sales pitch or pressure. Thank you Valerie!

Fredric Rubel Jewelers is the best!! I first purchased from them while I was living in Southern California and have continued to purchase from them even after moving out of state. The reason is because they are an honest and reputable company. I can always count on them to help me find the perfect jewelry at a great price. Their customer service is outstanding as well as their after the sale service! I will continue to buy from them. Do yourself a favor and check them out next time you need some fabulous jewelry!

I had a wonderful experience buying my Rolex GMT master II BLNR! This is my second Rolex but first time buying from Fredric Rubel and I have nothing but good things to say. The staff is professional, very knowledgeable, and completely friendly. I never felt pressured or pushed to purchase. They helped me try on several watches on multiple occasions. They have very competitive pricing and the best around town. I will definitely purchase from them again. I highly recommend this Rolex authorized dealer. A++++
