Sales girl just sat at the desk with little enthusiasm, and had difficulty explaining the difference between the lens.....like she didnt care. After I cracked my kneecap on the "poorly designed" desk try-on area which was too low...she made no effort to give my ice. When I asked her if anyone else hard slammed their kneecap like I just did...she couldnt look me in the eye. Id avoid this shop for poor design and potential bad injury ...how can you purchase new frames without seeing what you look like!!! And inexperienced sales help who showed a "I dont care attitude!" If you are going to spend $500+++ they should treat you better.

I visited Rims & Goggles and was excited to see what a great selection they had available. Their prices were on the high side, but they did help me find the only pair of frames that have looked good on me in a long time. However, they dont take my insurance and the amount of reimbursment I would get for purchasing outside of my provider was pennies compared to the cost of the glasses. When I called see if I could find out the name of the frames they had fitted me with, they REFUSED to share it with me. It is against their policy. I felt like I had insulted them for even asking and in the end I was very disappointed.

R&G has the best selection of sunglasses in the Bay Area. I dont waste my time shopping anywhere else. They always have super unique frames and are always up on the cutting edge trends. Most of the lines they carry you wont find in department stores so you wont see every person on the street wearing your same glasses. Also, they are extremely dog-friendly and always welcome my 60 pound doggie in the store while I shop around.

By far the best selection and service for eye glasses in the Bay Area. The owner travels to Europe twice a year to purchase the most unique and up-to-date frames. If you want glasses that are different from what everyone else is wearing, this is the place! Also the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and have a great eye for what looks best on every individual face.

Phenonenal staff, amazing selection.... a bit pricier, but I think its a minor investment to support a local store with an awesome guest experience all the way around. It was *FUN* to shop the day before Christmas. Thats madness.... Thanks ladies! Hope the husband didnt muck up Christmas Eve din din, and you got home on time! THANK YOU!

Rims and Goggles has a wide selection of beautiful frames and a helpful, terrific staff. I docked them one star only because they are expensive. Ive been coming back to them for years because other stores dont have the choices that I find at Rims and Goggles.
