I am glad to see I am not alone. This is a horrible store and staff. My experience was so negative and I noticed the nicest people in that store as customers. I went to get fabric to make capes for my 5 year olds superhero party, and the material was in a section clearly marked 60 % off Halloween Fabrics but they employees insisted it was mismarked (I took an iPhone picture and I am sending it to corporate). They were rude, and impolite and blamed Jo Anns Corporate over and over. I asked what they wanted to do to make me a happier customer and I was told by the manager I cant do anything. In times like these, you would think a retailer would understand that customer service is the golden ticket...but not JoAnns, and with the unemployment rate over 10% in Orange County, it is amazing to me that they couldnt hire someone to cut fabric who can actually count. Bad experience but the only place to buy this kind of fabric in south Orange County so I had zero choice.

This store had a fire recently and is remodeling..it is smaller than other stores and I have found the help for most part rude and nasty or just plain strange ..unlike the bigger joanns in area which has nice personnel for most part...ex: I just called this store to see when they will reopen ..once again rude and nasty person who is manning the phones whom basically hung up on me before I could ask how to find out the date of reopen..which confirms my above statement on the help there..I wont use this store again unless I am desperate. I am choosing other sources. Whoever owns/manages this store should really consider cleaning house and opting for more personable help..I am not the only one who feels this way many at my knitting/quilting groups seem to have experienced this too at this store and dread going there. Buying our crafts should be a treat not a treatment!!! I might add many of us are big spenders too.

Small, not enough choices. The staff are a bunch of uneducated, unprofessional, rude women. To phone, you have to wait through the recording and then for someone to answer. Then, after you ask the question and repeat yourself a few times, they put you on endless hold. Terrible customer service! Dont waste your time at this store. The large JoAnns in Lake Forest is so much better as is Michaels.

Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts is clean, organized, and has reasonable prices. The people there are very friendly and helpful. You can always expect a great experience at Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts. Except theres this one wallflower and the next time you go she will probably still be there. The big negative is that my teenage daughter spends every cent that she always there and I really hope it closes soon.

There were two cutters and one cashier the evening before halloween. What were they thinking? And on top of a long line and next to no staff, one of the cutters disappeared for 5 minutes because another employee called because she didnt know her schedule. Im sorry, but paying customers are more important than airhead employees that arent responsible enough to check their own schedule.

Not a friendly place like the stores in Tulsa OK. Very small, very poor selections. I was terribly disapointed. I guess I must be spoiled by the other stores. This one is bottom of the line. Im surprised its still in business except its the only one around this area. I will definately drive further for a nicer, customer service oriented store.

If you go to this location I hope you dont need to use the bathroom they are DISGUSTING spcially if have children or even if you are just going to wash your hands. This place is good to just get what you need and go,service is good the store is small but you can find variation just make sure you dont stay long enough to visit the bathroom.

After reading previous reviews,the staff must be completely different. My experience was friendly and helpful. I was searching for a craft projects for my nieces and nephews while they were visiting...and the girl who helped me couldnt have been nicer--she even recommended some kits that were only a $1each!

If you call them AND someone finally picks up phone theyll put you on hold then disconnect you. Three times in a row. Good luck with your business if you cannot operate something as simple as a phone. Internet says you have what Im looking for but Ill just go buy it elsewhere.

Its a great store! So much selection, super organized. Im heading there again this morning. Service is fine...how much help do you really need when the fabric is all color coated. Rule of thumb, be respectful to those behind the counter and youll get respect back.

I agree with Delia (writer of another review)- the staff is horrible. Rude and nasty. All the employees seem so angry. If I am desperate I will go there but have found other places to fill my needs. Stay away

The selection here is not very varied, due to the fact it is a small store. But it suits most of my sewing needs just fine, without having to drive further away from home to a larger store.
