Rarely have I had such outstanding customer service as motivated me to sit right down and write a review. Adriana at La Jolla Swim & Sport was immensely helpful in fitting my extremely tall and lanky son for a wetsuit. She also made arrangements for his surfing lesson. James was a very good instructor and we were pleased with his instruction. My daughter and I both found some really nice swimsuits - Adriana helped us to select items that she thought would work well, and indeed did. So she helped turn swimsuit-shopping (a sometimes painful experience) into a whole lot of fun. Should we return to La Jolla, we would make another trip to this store. Though I am a little water phobic, I would venture into the ocean for a swim with a knowledgeable person such as Adriana as my guide. Kudos from Colorado!

What an experience......so we were in from Texas enjoying the beach and walked in to this store to inquire about renting stuff for the beach...and walked out with some knowledge of the area and a great deal. I would recommend this place to anyone going to La jolla shores....rented late afternoon and was able to return a little after closing time...what a great shop..so any one needing to rent or buy stuff please go to this store..the owner adriana is so knowledgeable about the area and is willing to work with you so please use this store made our trip to the beach such a great time...

What a great shopping experience!! There are really few times when you run into a place like this one. I called in advance to find out if they had tri wetsuits. When I arrived she had already separated different options for me to try. I am new at triathlon and had a number of questions that were all solved. She recommended the best One for me. Always with a smile and with all the time in the world. Great!!

I needed a swim diaper and sun hat for my baby and La Jolla Swim and Sport had exactly what I needed. The owner also gave me a few beach toys she found at the beach for free, and had great recommendations on where to hangout on the beach with a baby. It makes such a difference when the owner of a swimwear store is an avid local swimmer!

Adriana was wonderful. Rented bikes from her on a whim, and she allowed us to return them a few minutes after the sunset, later than any other bike rental around. She was super friendly and welcoming. I would rent from her again and go on a swim tour next time Im in the area.
