Before our trip we came here to look at cots. It was too late to get a cot on Amazon and have it shipped. Much to our surprise there was a very nice Coleman Cot on sale here. I did a quick comparison to Amazon (to see if it was a good deal) and it appeared to be a decent (maybe not "good" deal) so we bought it. We also purchased other items and considered other items. Big 5 is still a great local sporting goods store that I will visit from time to time for that instant gratification and to be able to look at products in person.

On the smaller end for a big 5 but they somehow manage to have what I need more often than the larger stores. The employees here are hit and miss though. One young lady spent 20 minutes or so very kindly helping my young son pick out a proper glove and bat. We have however also gotten the odd employee who just wasnt helpful in the slightest or "heres your total now bye" at.tje register. A little hello or have a nice day goes along way.

This is okay on selection. terrible on knowing what they have. I ask where something is that is in there sale specials and they dont know where it is. now what I am mainly talking about is weights and workout equipment. they say they dont put it out cuz it takes up room. well if I see it I can buy it.

This is the closest Big 5 in our area. We like coming here for last minute outdoor activity stuff. Staff if friendly and the store is pretty well stocked with the things we go in for.

Its an ok location they run out of items fast and dont replenish very fast.
