Ive been shopping at this Stater Bros since 1999 - and I had my first complaint today - and - Im entirely disappointed with how it was handled by the manager - Rene. I bought $80.00 worth of produce - and - you tell me... Is there a problem?? Cauliflower – opened the package to find that it was brown/rotten/mildewed on the inside; 4 Pack of Red/Yellow Bell Pepper – Got home – opened the package and found both Red Bell peppers were rotten on the inside. The side of the bell pepper that was against the bottom of the package was brown and runny. 2 Yellow Bell Peppers - 2 for $3.00 – I cut one of the yellow bell peppers to find it brown and mildewed on the inside. It was disgusting. Cherries – Opened the package to find that almost 1/4 of the cherries were brown/runny/rotten. I was stunned by the state of the produce – called the store, and asked to speak with a manager. I ended up, unfortunately, speaking with Rene who said she was the “Manager in Charge” – but she was also manning a line at 10:00 at night – multi-tasking, and not very well. She was bothered by my call, immediately. I explained to her what I wrote above. She said, tersely, that no one else had complained about the produce – thereby dismissing my complaint - and said, in a dismissive fashion, “if you have your receipt, bring the produce in with the receipt and we’ll replace it. That’s all I can do” There was no “I’m sorry” – nothing even close. Not to mention - why would I want to come in and get more bad produce? And, no – that’s not all you can do. Either turn up down the temperature in the refrigerator – or improve the draining of the water in the refrigerated section… Or – better yet – throw out fruit and vegetables you can’t move that have clearly been sitting there on your shelf for awhile. So, from now on – I’ll get my produce at Albertsons or Sam’s Club/Costco where it’s not only cheaper – but WAY better quality. And – the customer service is certainly superior too. What a shame. What a disappointment.

I dont want to be one of those people who have to write a bad review, but, when I called to simply ask a question about something very important, the guy who answered the phone was completely rude, I asked a question about cameras in there store because my boyfriend was assaulted in their store Saturday, April 4th and he was snappy and was like, "THE POLICE HAVE ALREADY DEALT WITH IT, its beyond our heads now" and I was just like, "oh..." I was only asking because I wasnt there, and I wanted to know if the police had gotten the videos, so my boyfriend can press charges against the idiot who punched him and proceeded to kick him in the head because he tried to help the guys family pay for their groceries! He could have handled the phone call a lot better, and I got ZERO information out of him.

Nice market but dont expect good customer service. Most of the employees there look like they dont want to be there and theyll show it when assisting you. The cashiers have their favorites whom they choose to talk to but if youre not one of them you wont even be acknowledged throughout the entire transaction. Good market but poor service, what a shame.

I always shop at this store and they provide a lot of good produce at decent prices. The staff is nice and friendly. For Thanksgiving, I needed some cooking twine. I went to the butcher and asked if they had any, and the butcher just cut some of theirs and gave it to me for no charge! That is awesome!

This is my go to store. Cashiers are always welcoming and friendly. Great deals and I love that its never to crowded. Super convenient its literally 5 min away from my house and Ive been coming here for 2 years now and I have never encountered an issue!

Nice supermarket. Good sale prices. Unfortunately most employees lack manners. They dont greet you or thank you for your purchases. When performing their work theyre usually talking to another employee. Customer service could be improved upon.

Nice selection of organic foods and vegetarian foods. Store seems clean. Ive been to others in Santa Ana and Orange which discouraged me from ever going into another Stater Bros. Ill definitely return to this particular store.
