Im rating 1 star because there is no option for a lower rating. I went to this store yesterday 12/14/16 at about 1:30 or 2. Ive browsed the store at Arden mall, but never shopped at Forever 21 before, but I had a gift card so I thought Id check out the one closer to my house at the Folsom Outlets. Upon walking in there I got a couple of dirty sideways glances. I started browsing around the shop and nobody even so much as greeted me or said anything to me. I ended up finding a shirt that I liked that fit, but I also wanted to get one of the plad button ups on the wall closer to the door. At that time one of the employees had just clocked in and was folding shirts. I struck up a conversation with her and asked her about any of these shirts being in my size (an XL) and she gave me this disgusted look, looked me up and down and said to me "thats because this is a womans store." And went back to folding. I could have cried. I may not be pretty, but I dont think I look like a man. Again I smiled at her and asked about sizes and she just reluctantly handed me a small (I asked about larger sizes so I guess she just wanted me to be deterred and leave). From there I just took one of the black shirts I liked and some socks and left. I cried the whole way home. I had no idea that that store was only for smaller sizes, but even so the heartbreaking part of this visit was what she told me. How I was treated. Im fine with a store thats fit for smaller sizes, Im fine with people pointing out that Im a heavier person, but what is absolutely NOT okay is your employees having such a terrible attitude! I dont know what her name was, but I certainly dont wish for her to go through the same thing I did. Will never be spending money on this company again. Absolutely horrible.

My body types pretty normal, Im a small and pretty tall so its easy for me to shop here. I love their clothes but would rather shop online than in the actual store, its a bit messy and loud and smells like teenage girls insecurities.

Not as busy as other locations. Its never packed and great for a quick visit. Store can be a bit messy but they have a diverse selection.

No change to pay with cash. Not enough staff to keep store organized and help with purchases. Great prices. Interesting selection.
