I arrived at the store found everything I needed. Every employee was standing behind the register talking about inappropriate subjects. I just went about my buiness collected what I went there for. I bought a total of 6 items. When I arrived home I unloaded the bag and realized an item was missing. I was not surprised seeing as when I checked out the employees acted as if I interrupted their pow wow time. I called the store. The lady wasnt very nice and said she would call me back. She did call back promptly to ask how many items I bought. Then she went on to tell me they checked the cameras and that is how many they put in the bag. Then why did she ask how many I bought if she knew? I went and double checked the truck, the stroller to be sure it was no where to be found. I called again and a different lady answered. With in three minutes she apologized and said the item is on hold for me to pick up. I thank that employee very much. The other made me feel like I was a liar. It was the least expensive item I bought. If I was going to be untruthful i wouldnt of done it over 15 bucks. I have never been made to feel that bad. I will never shop there again.

Filthy displays and dirty testers. I was honestly afraid to touch anything. That would be enough to turn me off, but the customer service was non-existent. I had a gift card with $100 to spend, but I ended up walking out. No one once asked me if they could help me find anything. I asked one employee if they carried Clinique. She said they had a limited range, so I asked where the products were in the store, she responds, "what are you looking for?" I answer, she says, "we dont have that." I ask about another product, again, "we dont have that." You know, how hard would it be to show me in your teeny weeny store where the clinique products are? Maybe suggest something similar to the products I was looking for. Clearly, these people take no pride in their work. Sephora should be ashamed and should really cut ties with JCPENNEY if they want to maintain their reputation.

Came in to the store and I normally know what. I want because Im a makeup artist . I did asked one of the girls working if she could help me with finding out about an eyeliner and she did then I told her if she could give me a sample of of a foundation and then she turn around and tells me let me finish taking out the trash and once Im done Ill help you find the color and give an example because its going to take time to find the machine to match your color ... EXCUSE ME that is not customer service and when I get to the register the lady asked if everything was ok and I was like it was alright she apologized but never try to uncover how can she make my experience better.. HORRIBLE experience every time I come here every time theres different people..

Sephora at the Jc Penny location in the Escondido mall is the MOST ghetto and unprofessional place I have ever been. They never have products, no customer service ,all the employees have zero class and no customer service idea ! SEPHORA CORPORATE start taking a look of what is going in that store, I know is in the Escondido area what do you expect from people no class or education. I would never shop there again , and I trust me I got money to spend but I dont deal with trash ghetto....! Just saying !

Very bad customer service on behalf of an associate named Luz, working there Sat. February 6, in the evening. She couldnt process a return for me, gave me bs for reasons. I had my receipts in hand and apparently that wasnt easy enough. She told me I had to return it at a free standing Sephora if I wanted what I had paid for them. I have NEVER had a problem returning anything at any other Sephora. Way to treat a Rouge member, very disappointed.

Very bad customer service I shop there all the time, I had to buy a product because I swatched it because there were no testers out and I purchased it cause didnt want confrontation and then when asked for a sample to see what my color was she told me no and refused to give me one and she was so rude and even gossiped about me to other employees right in front of me thinking I wouldnt hear

This location is a joke everything is a mess, the customer service is nonexistent and to have employees snickering about customers including myself is just unprofessional, I know quite a few people that feel the same, never again.
