Part upscale food emporium, part community hangout. Its the kind of place every sensory can easily get overloaded - sight, sense, smell, and taste. This Whole Foods is the biggest of its kind in the greater East Bay. Its like going to Disneyland for foodies in the Tri-Valley area. Besides having the freshest fruits, veggies, meats, poultry and seafood, the Dublin store has an extensive bakery selection - cakes, tarts, single serving desserts, cookie bar, pastry bars - including gorgeous, crusty artisan breads freshly made in the back. This place can easily save you a drive to Oaklands College Avenue because its a one-stop foodie shopping Mecca! What is so cool about this store is the extensive prepared food / food court selections. Besides the usual sandwich, pizza, olive and weight-by-the lb prepared food bars, they have a wine and beer bar where you can buy a glass of wine or beer and have it with your meal either in their indoor dining area or outside in their beer garden. This Whole Foods also has a large juice bar in their produce section and a beverage bar (coffee, teas, etc) and a help-yourself frozen mochi bar in the bakery area too! The store is clean, bright and shiny. There is some food sampling in some of the areas, especially if you ask for one. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only con is finding a parking space can get tough, especially during the weekends and during meal times. Be patience! Its worth the aggravation. Many just come in and buy only the prepared food or from one of the food or beverage bars and just hangout in the eating areas. It makes you wonder especially during the weekdays does anyone work. Persimmons Places property owner and the city of Dublin didnt account for the demand for more parking spaces.

I think wholefoods is going crazy on customer friendly service...just had to watch and face very rude and unpleasant employee at bakery in Dublin ... The employee offended a customer who was buying cookies in front of me, just because the customer wanted more cookies than she originally said... So employee was pissed (or her expressions say that) that she had to get a different box to fit what the customer wanted now...and customer also noticed that expression and had to say sorry for changing her mind and wanting to buy more cookies..really ? Employee did not even bother to respond to customers sorry... And my cake order/picking up experience right after that was another disaster.. And I left that place feeling guilty for wanting to check if the box really contained what I ordered. "Jesus Christ , can you not do that" is what she told me and was emotionally blackmailing me asking if I wanted the cake or not, when I questioned about the cake... Please teach your employees some ethics and customer service please...or pay them well if the low pay is the reason for them to be not happy dealing with customers...

As a Whole Foods virgin, I was so ecstatic to find this place! There is an amazing selection of fruits, vegetables and prepared food products that had me immediately throwing down my credit card to stock up. The deli service was excellent other than the woman ringing us out and her pretty negative demeanour. When we got to front cash register to pay for our groceries, we received the same sort of treatment from our cashier. All in all selection and location make this place a top notch choice and whenever we feel like splurging a bit on groceries this will definitely be the place we go.

Came here for vegan and gluten free baked good for work. Things were frozen and a few fresh baked. Well see if it passes the taste. Update: the Vegan mini-muffins were pretty good. The gluten free muffins and scones after they defrosted were too hard. The confetti cake was dry but the frosting was good. I was disappointed in the selection and the taste. Gluten free shouldnt have to be so dry. WF used to have a huge display of baked goods but its less than before. If I had gotten a cake that was baked there I know that would have been delicious because Ive had those before.

Used to be nice selection of meats. Last few times I have visited and there was no #4 step ground meats, only #1. I have bought skirt steak a few times and it seems like flap meat rather than the actual skirt steak. Whole Foods prices are high and I wouldnt mind if quality was as promised which I think has gone down. I rather drive a bit to Livermore Costco and pick nice prime steaks from there. The service is usually pretty good. There is a lot of choice of pre-cooked items though it doesnt say organic or not on those prepared meals. Parking can be a hassle.

By far the best place to shop for groceries if money is of no concern. Their meat department is stellar- I usually buy whatever they have on sale. Organic chicken is excellent. The hot bar is of high quality, but I wish they would change the menu more often. Sushi is more expensive than eating at a restaurant. OTOH, could be a sad place to visit if your pockets arent loaded with wads of cash.

Whole foods has been a household want for their daily consumption of food. A bit expensive but hope with Amazon take over it would reduce the cost too which I am sure will take a year or two before we see the changes in the cost. Loved the snacks, organic products and vegan food.

Fantastic this brand new location. Close to my hotel and office, it could not be better. I love the fresh juice with coconut water that is prepared live, the salad bar and sushi are amazing. If you are in your health and fit journey this is a must visit place.

Worth the stop!! Every time we drive through this area, we always stop here. It is perfect for a quick snack, a full meal or anything in between. As we usually are travelling as a family, it is especially nice to always find the restrooms clean and stocked!

Pretty awesome new store. Lots of great healthy foods and helpful staff. The wine bar and deli are a great way to relax after shopping and sample some food and wine. They also have a smoothie bar that I like a lot.

Our daily pilgrimage to the whole foods God is not complete without buying their vegan eats and snacks.
