I absolutely love grocery shopping here but they are lacking in the bulk department. They source some local produce but not all - they do label the source of most items. Hippy vibes. They have plans to relocate, which I am excited about because right now, they have a kitchen in the center of the store which wafts pleasant and not so pleasant smells into the store (not really want I want while grocery shopping). Best that Chico has to offer (besides S&S) but would be brilliant if more like the Sac Co-op.

I usually buy bulk items here, like peanuts, instant/baby oats, etc, etc. The salad bar could use some additional imagination. The burritos could be less painful when you eat them (too much burning spice). Looking forward to their moving to a new location. One of the few natural food stores Ive shopped at that do NOT give seniors a discount. Why not?!

I wish my town had a Coop and an S&S Produce. These are the places we shop when were here. This is the most perfect smallish cooperative and it really has an excellent assortment of produce.

Good vegan selection, but prices are high, and beware of pseudoscientific medication that is proven not to work. Okay to buy healthy food here, but do not buy their medicinal remedies.

The food is organic, but its also really pricey. Im pretty sure that if youre a member you get a discount, but I dont think its worth it. Go to Trader Joes or SnS for better deals.
