This is not a restaurant (its a natural foods store primarily, with a butcher shop), but you can buy food (including the salad bar priced at a level to sell) and eat it on outdoor tables in the front of the store. I shop here for the produce and natural foods. If this store were in another city, say Santa Cruz, I would have given it a 2-star rating, since Santa Cruz has sooo many better natural food stores, but since basically there is only this store and Chico Natural Foods for natural foods, I give it a 3-star. Would be lovely if they expanded to a store the size of a Safeway or Raleys. And if youre a senior you get -10% discount on the food, but you have to ask for the discount.

Please note that you must be hip to shop here, or at least it helps, a lot! For instance, the procedure to buy a sandwich is not spelled out anywhere, but Ill give you a couple of hints: it involves at least 3 people, money not spent at the sandwich window and retaining your receipt a lot longer than you would suspect. Then the sandwich is skimpy. Perhaps if you wear patchouli oil it would help?

So fresh and organic and well-run. I go here as often as I am able to; its just a good bit more expensive than Safeway/WinCo, so I am not always able to afford the extra cost. Its worth it though. Local business with friendly employees and delicious, fresh (super fresh) produce and meats. All the meats are locally sourced and should surpass any of your expectations of a quality cut.

The best in Chico. Simply the best. We do all our shopping at S&S Produce and Natural Foods. Its like having our local farmers market 24/7. We love the steaks and seafood especially, and the other day I had a barbecue sandwich that was out of this world. I am proud to recommend S&S.

Great products. Their natural part with tincture and herbal is very impressive. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly! Love the bulk area. Sandwiches are mmm mmm good!! Love the hotdog toppings bar!! Great, cheap tapestries. Some things are way overpriced tho
