I and other disabled people have a complaint against Ross. We are tired of being treated as we are like everyone else. We all come in different shapes and sizes and Ross insists on treating us with the "one size fits all" approach by not allowing disabled people who need special accommodations, like having a shopping cart to take to their car and getting help from employees who just stand there and watch disabled people on crutches and wheel chairs, etc struggle with packages all because Ross refuses to accommodate disabled people by not allowing them to take their cart to their car and unload their packages. What other store does that! None that I know of! The only way to get Rosss corporate offices attention is to stop spending money there, and thats what I am and the other disabled people are going to do. I was in the Ross store the other day and I needed help to get my packages to the car because of Rosss policy of no carts leave the store and the manager told the clerk to tell me she was to busy to help, and did not offer any of her employees to help me. I had to solve my own problem by going outside of the store and track down a cart from the grocery store next store and leave it next to the door in hopes no one takes it. I will not report the manager because shes only following Rosss policy and adhering to Rosss culture of not accommodating disabled people, so my complaint is directed to Rosss Corporate Office. This is poor practice and not sure what business model Ross is following here, but whats clear is they are certainly not following any American Disability Act (ADA) guidelines. This is a loud message to all of their customers including the disabled community that Ross not only doesnt care about their customers, but theyre not disability friendly!!!! Shame on you Ross!

Reading everyone elses comments has me fired up. I worked at ross and let me give you an idea of what it was like: I was the youngest employee at the time I was working there. I also had to drive about an hour drive to and from work. The interview went fine, everyone was so nice to me, but as soon as I got the job it was like they flipped a switch on their personality. I was thrown out with only 4 hours of training, I had no idea where anything was and was expected to get all the clothes from the fitting room back on the racks in 10 minutes or less. We had headsets, which were mostly used to trash talk other employees/customers. I asked a lot of questions, and the assistant manager called me a b**ch because apparently I sound rude when I ask questions, as if it was my fault they didnt properly train me. They also stuck me in the fitting room for the entire duration of my employment. Obviously, they need more people on the register but Ive never seen more than one person working it at a time, regardless of the length of the line. Their first priority is not customer service, and it is definitely not the work environment either. I heard one associate say on the headset that she was about to go outside and fight a customer, who had just complained about the customer service. Also, Ive called the corporate office about 10 times since January 31st, none of my calls have been returned. I never received my w2s for the time I worked there. They are awful. Dont shop here. Dont work here. Sonora Ross, whats good?

I made 7 separate calls to get a W2. Each individual I spoke to, while polite and authoritative, gave me conflicting information. Call 2 I was told to redial the corporate number and chose payroll again, and let the list of options run until the choice of selecting a live individual came up. This did not happen. The automated system hung up on me. Call 3 I was told to wait until February. Call 3 I was told to go on line to an non working website, with a pass code to get a copy of my W2. This website did not work. It required information that I did not have and was not given. Call 5 A complaint call to customer service. "We dont take this kind of complaint call, only something to do with the store." Gave me another number to call when I asked for a direct line and contact. Call 6 this number was not working. Call 7 talked to a receptionist again, who directed me to a supervisor, who told me that I would need to wait until Jan 31, because that is what the law stated. This was arduous, time-consuming and not at all a pleasant customer service approach.

Dont work at Ross, not a good place to work at. I heard managers, LPs and workers speaking slanders about me and making discriminating remarks about me. I tried calling Ross in Cupertino to get the corperate offfice number, the guy was an idiot. I even tried to call corperate office and I kept getting a run around and kept getting cutting off

Ive been owed $385.75 since January 2015. I have attempted to get my money by jumping through several hoops all year now and I am getting to the point where legal action is required. I have names, email addresses and numbers with all my evidence at the ready. Zero professionalism.
