Terrible experience. The salesman either didnt know what he was talking about or outright lied to me when I transferred service from AT&T. I was quoted numbers and prices that, as far as I can tell, were entirely made up. Perhaps he was aggressive or maybe just ignorant, but either way the salesman did not provide honest answers. For example, I was quoted a 20% employee discount - it ended up being only 15%. I was also told my trade-in phone values would be used to reduce my monthly device fee payments - they were not. Furthermore, he did not follow through on things he said he would do - like process my final bill or process my employee discount. Ive had to call customer service multiple times to sort out all the loose ends this bozo left with my account. All in all, I am left with a feeling that I was lied to and cheated and will never return to this shop again. I called Verizon customer service, waited on hold, and reported this experience directly to them because Im so disgusted with this place and the devious salesman they employ there.

The store manager is arrogant and quite content to be ignorant. On the first day of the new plans, I went in and we combined three accounts, bought a few new phones and other hardware. It was not simple for the rep. to do. Months later I noticed I was getting charged monthly for something I was told came with the package. I went into the store and the same rep took about 25 minutes looking at things and agreed that she made a mistake. She said a manager is needed to fix this. The manager, after less than 30 seconds of "reviewing the account" said "I will credit you back for half the charges." When I asked why should I pay for half, the employee said it was her mistake, and you did not even look at what is going on, she said that she knows everything in 30 seconds and she is being very nice to credit me back half.

I need to complement the staff at the Verizon store in Del Mar, and especially acknowledge the friendly and helpful Sylvia. I killed my phone (details are not relevant and somewhat embarrassing). Sylvia arranged to get me a replacement sent to my hotel in AZ where I will be next week. While all of the employees were very helpful Sylvia is the type of employee I would steal to work at my business. She deserves a raise before someone does steal her away. Frankly I was skeptical when Alltel was merged with Verizon. If my experience in Del Mar is an indication of what to expect from Verizon, I will be a customer for life.

Sales people are not knowledgeable; they dont follow up on issues or problems, but of course promise to do so. Rene Rocha is a perfect example of a salesperson who has no idea how to provide client service. Totally erases our business account, cant fix it on his own, promises to work with his manager and support to get this rectified...i have had to call (he gave me cell???) and email multiple times...1 month nothing has happened. Verizon has some issues with service as it is, but a good store can make the difference between remaining a customer or leaving...this store makes it easy for clients to want to leave Verizon.

Zack was helpful with my question about someone calling and saying and asking for my dad from Verizon Wireless and he told me how to block that call and told me to call 611 to block that call. Give Zack a high five. Thank you Zack for helping that night to stop scam artists by phone. I want to know how to block them again and find a way to send the cops to that persons address to stop harassing my family.

Went to a different Verizon store earlier today and just plainly hated it and the sales rep. Came to this one and the rep. Was just really nice, patient and knew his stuff. Only thing I might hold off on giving 5 star on is how long it took (starting new plan) to process everything once the paperwork was signed.

Terrible service! Always extremely slow getting service and always inaccurate estimate of time to wait, e.g., if they say 10 min. it will be at least 30, or much more! And it always looks like there are 2-3 guys talking and laughing, doing nothing.

horrible experience! Do not go there. They do not know what they are doing. 2 hours later I still did not have my new phone transferred over. I felt I was at a second rate service Motel 6. Verizon better realize that they have competition now.

Store personnel couldnt be bothered to stop their chitchat among themselves to help a customer. It was the customer-service equivalent of a limp, clammy handshake. Yuck. Much better service on El Camino Real.

Staff was pushy and then gave me a dirty look because I was indecisive....I did not buy of course, I went to another store and service was how I experienced from other Verizon stores.
