Wanna meet up for some tea? Now with 2 locations in Cerritos, this branch of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is located conveniently in the middle of Los Cerritos Center. Shoppers walking by can stop for a coffee or tea, with CBTLs open layout and small dining area. In the past, I didnt frequent the OG Cerritos CBTL on Artesia & Bloomfield, mainly due to the parking shared with Chipotle. Traffic was usually hard to find, with some cars being double-parked and causing a headache-inducing clusterfrick. Now with this new location, I think Ill be an on-again, off-again regular. What The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has over the Bucks are their selections of tea. Im quite fond of the Cherry Blossom Grean Tea. Im also trying to wean myself off of daily coffee consumption, trying just to indulge a few times a week. But with tea, I can avail myself w/o concerns of adrenal function, jittery sensations and what not, as long as I dont help myself to too much sugar. Which can be hard, I know ;p Los Cerritos Center has come a long way since its days of the UA Twin, Woolworth and the organ store that no one went to. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is a great addition to the mall, with prime real estate situated in the causeway between Forever 21 & Nordstroms. I love coffee bean.....but I didnt like the service here.......#1 my order was wrong #2 when Making my order my ice blended coffee didnt taste the same.....and it because the extra shot....was just poured on top and was not blended in......i was really disappointed........forgot to mention behind the counter it was a mess and not organized.
