No doubt that this place is beautiful. The plants and the wooden furniture look great, but the little tables outside attached to the bench seating are weirdly placed and dont really let you sit comfortably. The place is also pretty pricey: an iced coffee & pastry combo can cost you $10. The little sugar/milk sink station has a few gnats buzzing around it, which is kinda gross, but its not because the place is dirty, its just because gnats like water that doesnt seem to dry out in the sink. The black ink on the napkins kind of rub off on you if they get too wet from the condensation of your cup. They should definetly think about switching to some white or natural napkins. The up-side: the people who work here are nice, theres wifi, good music, it smells nice and if you do get outside seating youre surrounded by plants. Just be careful not to let your jacket/shirt/sweater get wet in the potted plants that are right behind the benches. I also like that they serve you in real cups/mugs and on plates if youre staying here to eat. Its close to work and Id come back to chill here, just for the outside seating, but will probably limit myself to one drink.

Food/Drinks: Ordered the juice flight since it came up as a highlight on yelp. I loved how they came in little shot glasses, just enough to really try and savor all of them. My bf ordered a latte and even though it was a simple drink, it was a good balance. I really like how their menu is super simple and small, not overwhelming like other coffee shops. I feel like it means that they really take their time to make the best coffee that they can. Environment/Ambiance: The shop itself is amazing. Its modern, spacious, and its relaxing. Its a little difficult to find, but keep a lookout for their "Coffee" sign and the leafy plant decorations outside the store. Be aware you may find it difficult to find parking so your best bet is to look for street parking. And dont mind the walk. Service: Service was great, and the girl who served me my juice flight was super helpful. Thanks for making it so easy to understand!! Tips: Great coffee. But also try the juice flight. You might find it a pleasant surprise!

Awesome coffee joint and juicery! They definitely have a nice selection of coffees and drinks, and all of them really do look good. The staff is super nice and willing to explain all the different juices and drinks they have to you, which is nice seeing as they cost a real premium but they are definitely worth it in my opinion. My personal favorite drink and my go-to when I need to get some work done is definitely their nitro cold brew. Unlike a lot of other nitro cold brews, which end up tasting kind of weird/bubbly/carbonated, this one tastes really foamy and smooth. It kind of tastes smooth like a coffee and milk drink, but without the milk. Great workspace area as well, as long as you dont mind splitting a table with a few other people, because there is one communal table and some other hipster individual set ups. The overall decor of the place is also definitely very modern and hipster, and its just a nice atmosphere to sit and get some work done!

If youre into to juices this is a must try. Everything about this coffee and juice bar screams hipster. Lol the juice options all looked really interesting and they describe what each juice targets such as detox or whatever else. They also have the flight if youre unsure of which juice to order. The flight is made up of 10 2oz. juices so you get a sample of the most popular ones. The presentation of the flight was super cute and all the juices were different colors. There were definitely some favorites and some not so favorites. The ones with ginger and cayenne were spicy and more difficult to drink but Im sure they had very good benefits. The coconut flavored one was my favorite. Well now I know which juice to order next time!

The rundown on Verve Coffee. 1. Great coffee, great service. Verve serves up all the prerequisites third wave coffees and espressos including an exceptional pour over. 2. Its an impressive space. Inside you never feel cramped, and just outside the front door is a patio space that doesnt leaving you feeling as though youre on the edge of a less than ideal section of DTLA. 3. Great eats, great selection. A notch above your standard pastries. 4. If youre into the whole bs cleanse thing, or just looking for fresh juice, you cant go wrong here. 5. The lone bummer is parking. Along with the location comes the standard crummy parking youve come to expect in DTLA.

An incredible find in downtown LA, in a gorgeous, clean and flawless space with giant open ceilings, incredible natural light and featuring fancy high end merchandise for sale. As soon as I arrived, service was very prompt and friendly as I tried to decide what to order from their wide variety of coffees and fancy juices. On this first visit, I kept it simple with my usual cappuccino order. It had a rich espresso taste and made perfectly down to the velvety foam. Delizioso! Verve is yet another perfect addition to the development of finer restaurants and coffeehouses that are enhancing the fashionable, hip and stylish vibe of DTLA.

I love coming into Verve because their locations are stunningly beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. But EVERY single time Ive come in without fail, whether its in the DTLA location or Melrose, Ive had a bad experience. Most of the time its the employees who project this experience. There are no friendly vibes and Im all about great customer service. Once, maybe twice if the employee is having a bad day, I understand. But every time? Not okay. Theres also an atmosphere of arrogance that Im not for. This is definitely not the best cup of joe Ive had to be getting these vibes.

Love Love the atmosphere/vibe. This juice & coffee is so spacious with indoor and outdoor seating for guests to either chill, catch-up with friends, or do personal work. Small pastry selection. I ordered their pies which tasted really good! Juice Flight is a great idea to start and find which juices to start with & I wish I remembered what iced coffee I was recommended to get and ordered. They were both so great though! HOWEVER, parking definitely does suck so -1 star for that but its DTLA so of course parking is going to be a real b.

Verve Coffee is one of the best places to meet up with a friend, study, and most importantly: drink coffee. Their cappuccino is my favorite espresso drink anywhere in downtown LA and the quick service and trendy, semi-hipster atmosphere all combine to create a comfortable location where you can get your caffeine fix for the day. Side note: while studying here is pleasant overall, outlets may be hard to come by if you dont manage to snag a spot in the central table.

This was on the very top of my list when I visited LA - its world famous when it comes to coffee. They are setting the bar high and raising the standard of what good coffee means in America. It never disappoints, I go in every time I visit. Tasty treats, beautiful interiors and amazing coffee, cool merch. Avoid if you get annoyed by hipsters, theres a lot here but if you do care about carefully selected, roasted, and brewed beans then you have to give it a try.
