I was nothing but impressed from start to finish with my experience at Ulta. I called for a same day appointment and was sitting in the chair for a perm within an hour. Natasha was my stylist and was possibly the most apt person to ever touch my hair. I couldnt have been more pleased with everything from her knowledge and technique to her easy going manner. I was a bit nervous about perming my hair and getting the look I wanted, but she managed it with ease and confidence. She even showed me some great styling techniques and personally walked me around the store to help me find the products that would make the style work best for me without being pushy or "selling" me. I will be recommending Natasha to everyone I know and will now be shopping Ulta for all of my beauty care needs. Give that woman a raise, Ulta! Happily Surprised, Suzanne

I came here with the expectations of buying many products, I have always gone to Ulta but never been to the one in Carlsbad. As soon as I walked in to the store I got the most rudest stares. I was looking for pallets, I couldnt find one so I had asked an employee. Their response was " we dont even have anything like that, you can shop online " I said ok... and went to search for one by myself. As I was looking for pallets, I noticed how they were all helping out this other girl, I felt disgusted on how they can treat someone like that. I think the employees should check themselves before I do. Lol. horrible shop, never going there again. Unless they get new employees who actually respect their customers.

Every time I shop at this Ulta, I have to prepare myself for a fight at the register. After being rung up, Im always asked for my phone number. When I say I dont have a card, they immediately scan a card to sign me up without asking. And it takes multiple times of saying no for them to finally stop pushing me to sign up. I said I didnt want it the first time, so please stop trying to convince me I do want it. I shop at this location because its convenient and has all my essential basics, but I dread going there because of the interaction at the register.

Never will I go into this location again. I asked on of the women on the floor to help me pick a shade of foundation,she acted super inconvienced. Apparently I inturupted her gossipping with a felow employee. Picked a shade off the shelf and said this should work,and went right back to her "important" conversation.

Worst service in a decade, easily. Holiday weekend, 15 people in line, 1 girl checking, and with a horrible attitude. Despite the rewards program, might be time to take my business elsewhere. This location has gone downhill in the last year or so, pretty significantly. DISAPPOINTED, TO SAY THE LEAST

Im offended that they offered me a credit card, gave me a line of credit and then pulled it. My credit is excellent. This affects my credit. Very unprofessional. Bait and switch.

This location isnt always stocked well, it gets very busy. Parking can be tough, but... Hey there are bathrooms that are always clean inside. Thats awesome when one is shopping!
