Love the staff at Artifact!!! The place is really clean and you don’t get that feeling that you might catch something while you’re there (I’ve been to other places and I’ve definitely walked out due to cleanliness.) Ricky Evans is absolutely AMAZING!! His work is by far the best I have ever had and he made me so comfortable! He even did a cover up for me; it’s so beautiful no one can even remember what I had there before. He took his time even though he was of; he stayed an extra hour to finish up on my tat and didn’t seem upset at all! He really listened to what I wanted and it came out better than I imagined. Also Desi the piercer is great!!! He sat with me while Ricky drew up my tat, he kept me entertained and comfortable the entire time. Love his work, I would definitely recommend Ricky for tats and Desi for piercings!!! Thanks guys!!!!

i came here because of a piercing portfolio that i saw on their site and was impressed with. after having my piercing worked on, i was pretty upset that the piercer did not clean up the blood and did not tape gauze down; he was going to just let me walk out bloody and exposed! a few days later, i went to show a friend the portfolio couldnt find it anywhere on the site anymore... i have a sneaking suspicion that they were using someones port. who didnt work there... i ended up googling a different shop because i needed to have the piercing that he did fixed!

Got my tattoo here for a fair price and was really impressed with the quality. You have to ask yourself this question: Do I want a discount price and potentially sub-par quality for something that will be on my body for the rest of my life? No thank you. Ill gladly pay to get the level of talent the artists at Artifact have. I found out about the shop from the owners. Ive done work with them in the music industry. Theyre really good dudes and their shop took great care of me. Well worth the trip for the quality of the work.

I just got my nipples pierced by Desi. He was fantastic. He took his time and made me feel completely comfortable. I didnt feel like he just wanted to get me out of there as some other piercers [at different studios] have made me feel. I also didnt feel judged that my nerves were a complete mess [as Ive felt at OTHER studios]. He was very professional and very friendly. Definitely the most painful piercing experience but also the best one by far. I would/will recommend 110%.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the energy in the shop. I had my first piercing done here by Dezi, who was very professional. He told me all I needed to know about my piercing and didnt get frustrated by my many questions. I got my nosed pierced and never had problems with it. The place is very clean and everyone is extremely friendly and professional. I will be getting my eyebrow piercing done here and well everything else. <3

I love my triple forward helix! Desi is a great piercer...very patient and knows his stuff. Everything was extremely sanitary and professional. Their prices were very affordable (Im a starving college student), and overall, Im very pleased with my experience at Artifact. I will definitely be coming back for other piercings in the future!

I just went to get some jewelry and after standing there for almost 20 minutes without even being acknowledged I was told someone would help me after she finished with the previous customers. I then stood there another 10 minutes before finally walking out. I understand being busy but not ignoring customers...

Just watched Bryan Hall do an AMAZING tattoo on someone. The customer was so happy she took a pictures with him lol I was there just to check it out and the shop was clean and I got friendly service! Absolutely ask for Bryan Hall, I highly recommend him for sick work! Cant wait for him to do mine!

Crazy expensive. Went in for an estimate on a tattoo price. It was three times more expensive than it would of cost me getting it done in pismo beach ca. Which is a tourist destination. Over priced on all tattoos. Stay away from this place

If you need a piercing, come here. We actually drove an hour and half to visit. My wife needed help with a previous industrial and Desi was more than happy to help. Hes very informed and courteous. Five stars no doubt!
