Buying new furniture is supposed to be a happy experience, but our experience here was far from happy and plain unpleasant. My wife and I spent several thousand dollars and purchased a whole home furniture set from one of the sales floor reps, Harout. After purchasing everything, including a pricey furniture protection plan, our experience after leaving the store turned into a nightmare. Having just been newly married, we were expecting to receive all of our furniture by a specific date (which we requested and were promised), yet only a portion of our furniture arrived and all but 2 pieces of the furniture which were delivered were damaged, so we had to refuse them. We called customer service several times, including our sales rep who should make it a priority to make sure that his customers are satisfied, but they were of no help. It was important for us to get our furniture in a timely manner, as promised, but they couldnt deliver their promise until a week or so into the future and some pieces werent even available until a couple of weeks later. Basically, bad customer service and one of the reps even had the audacity to hang up on us. Fast foward 6 months...........we have all of our furniture but now noticed that several pieces of our furniture are showing signs of damage. Not worth it. Id rather pay more and not have to deal with this. Bad quality and bad customer service. If you do decide to purchase your furniture from here, be sure to avoid working with Harout. He is dishonest, and when it comes down to solving customer problems, he is careless and has a bad attitude. All he cares about is making the sale........then dropping the ball after getting his commission check.

I am absolutely appalled at the service I have received. I went into the Burbank Ashley store and ordered a bed, couch, love seat, side tables and dresser. When I found another table for my living room I decided to cancel the table I had bought from Ashley. I called customer service and they said no problem we will email the delivery people and they will not bring your table. When they arrived with the rest of my furniture the delivery man had the table I cancelled, I explained to him that I had called customer service and it should have been cancelled. He then called customer service from his phone and they were unaware that I had made any cancellation. Then the delivery man proceeded to tell me he was not going to be paid for the day because I was refusing the table THAT I HAD CANCELLED. Completely unprofessional. I called customer service and they then told me I had to physically come into the store and sign that I wanted to void the table and they would refund me. I took time out of my day to drive over to the store and when I signed all the paperwork saying that I did in fact want to cancel the table the man working was very impatient with me questioning why I wanted to cancel a piece of furniture. The next day after I cancelled the table Ashley Furniture calls me and tells me the delivery man is outside my apartment building with the table I ordered. I cannot believe how unorganized this company has been and I will not be returning any of my future services to this establishment. I am very upset with how I have been treated throughout this process.

When you go furniture shopping at Ashleys you have to go in with a good idea of what you would like to purchase. I recommend a lot of research on particular items that are a "must have" and what youre not willing to purchase. This will help prevent "add ons" you where not wanting in the first place. That being said I went in to furnish my apartment. I knew I needed a bedroom set, kitchen, and living room furniture. Silva was able to help me out immediately. She showed me clearance items and special financing available for certain sale items. She was able to help me maintain my budget and get the things that felt right for me. She was understanding and very helpful. She listened and was able to offer me good comparisons within the store items. When I purchased my items I initially thought to get a cheaper mattress. Especially since I wanted to maintain a budget. She was able to tell me about the options available and how to find something that fit my needs. I have lower back pain and neck pain so she showed me the beautiful temperpedic options. I was able to take my time in picking a mattress not once feeling rushed. She offered all sorts of options and helped me pick something that fit my body. Over all this was a great shopping experience and I was able to get all the things on my list without overstepping my budget. I would love to go back and spend some more but Im all out of space. Thank you Silva and thank you Ashleys. Best Ashleys in my point of view the Valley and West Covina ones didnt compare.

If I could give them a negative 5, I would. The sales person bombarded me the second I walked into the store. You can tell that they work on commission only. They insisted on a longer warranty in order to sell me the item that I wanted. I went round and round, trying to tell them that I did not want the extended warranty, on a simple item. I paid for it to be delivered. The first that they could bring the couch would be 3 and a half weeks later. I have no help around, so I paid the $150 to have it delivered. Upon delivery, the workers seemed worn out, they didnt want to move my old couch aside, let alone take it outside my living room. Since I needed a place for the 6 piece sectional that they brought, I told them to take it the hell back to the store & reverse my charges then!. They called the store and after much waiting, the store approved that they could move my old couch, if I would sign some kind of damage waiver. After moving my old couch, I had to hear from the workers that they dont make much money, only what they make in tips. I wasnt about to tip them after paying $150 for delivery a few miles from the store. They dropped, slid, and kicked around my $2800 sectional couch as if it were garbage. Also, I didnt appreciate the fact that they were sliding it around on my nice laminate flooring. I will never go back to Ashley Furniture again..

Worst experience ever. I planned to host a thanksgiving dinner, but the incompetence and service of the employees here prevented that from hapening. It was scheduled for delivery on a Sunday. I received an automated call to confirm that it was going to arrive on Sunday. We waited around and didnt end up receiving a phone call to let us know it was not going to arrive. They rescheduled it to that Tuesday and also confirmed a delivery time by text and automated phone call on Tuesday morning. Once again, delivery was not made and I was not notified that it was not going to be delivered. So I stayed home all day waiting for the table and figured out it wont be delivered by calling them when the delivery time passed. This happened 4 times; so it took 5 scheduled deliveries to actually get our table. They will tell you that they dont promise a delivery date - but ONLY after you purchase the table and after they fail to deliver (which will happen). I scheduled to leave work so many times for this that it ended up costing me about 4 times what the table is actually worth. Dont let the price deceive you. Youre better off paying more for better service, quality and customer service. Once you pay them, they dont care about you actually receiving the item and wont take the extra step to remedy the situation. It becomes your problem, not theirs. Horrible customer service.
