Once again, we get home and have not received all of the items we paid for. We are moving in 2 days and purchased disposable cups so we could pack our dishes away last night. I realized at 9pm when I went to get a glass of water, we never got the cups we bought. Then I look at receipt and realize we also didnt get the book we bought for our son to have on airplane. It was the only book of its kind. So now I need to go get a refund for that when Im trying to pack and move. I tried calling the store 4x. No one answers at customer service, and after 3 minutes its starts over and you have to select again. Then it disconnects you. I selected floral next time just to get a live person where I could ask for the manager. They hung up on me also. This is seriously the WORST grocery store Ive ever been to. Im so glad to be moving far away from here, not only because the neighbor is unsafe and full of theifs, homeless, loud and rude people, but because I wont have to shop at this disgusting and unorganized store anymore.

This store has decent selections and prices. It has ATMs inside, multiple Redbox, Starbucks, and even one of those Amazon package pickup lockers. It is right next to the BART station, so it is a convenient 5 minute walk if you need something before or after your ride. It also has the same downside the BART station has, which is a significant amount of marijuana use in the parking lot and immediate vicinity. Not a problem if you dont mind reeking of weed. Additionally, the hours of this store are shorter than others in the area and they lock up a LOT of stuff (e.g. liquor, baby food, razors, etc) . Service to get things unlocked can be very slow if they are busy.

Worst Safeway around, never any baskets for us to use, lots of misplaced items and messy shelves, produce and meats are not always as fresh as they should be, there is no self check out, multiple check out lines are always closed and that doesnt help with the crowed, seams like they are always short staffed, no matter what time you go there is always a line at check out. This location is always busy because there no other choice around in the area. District managers need to do something about this location. I live 5 min away from this safeway and I would rather go to the willow pass location.

HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THE DELI THE PERSON WHO HELPED ME WAS RUDE AND RUSHING ME SHE WAS MIXING COOKED FOOD WITH RAW FOOD AND SHE WAS NOT CLEAN AL ALL, SHE PUT THE EMPTY BOTTLE OF SAUSCE ON TOP OF MY TORTILLA AND ALSO GRAB FRIED CHICKEN AND DIDNT USE IT AND PUT IT BACK TO BE SOLD I COMPLAINED TO THE STORE MANAGER AND HE DID NOT CARE THIS PEOPLE ARE BREAKING HEALTH CODES AND THEY DONT CARE NEXT STEP I WILL CALL THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT MAYBE THAT WAY THIS MANAGERS WILL PAY MORE ATTENTION TO WHAT THE PEOPLE HANDLING FOOD ARE DOING SUCIOS!!!!!

The prices at Safeway are extremely high! For instance, I purchased 6 cans of Campbells chuncky chicken and noodles soup @ $2.99 per can. I then went to Walmart the next day and their everyday price is $1.50. I immediately returned the soups back to Safeway. I got 6 cans at Walmart for the price of 3 at Safeway. Another savings is box of raw sugar @ Walmart is $3.01 and at Sageway $3.99 These prices show the overall increase pricing at Safeway stores

one of the employees were rude and not really nice at all. my mom and I came 6:30 to the bakery shop to get a cake for my brothers birthday and turns out that the bakery shop was closed early, and I ask that employee for help and she said the that the bakery shop was close and I told the employee we got to the bakery early before it close and no one was there. but at the end the mean employee called someone to get the cake out.

The Safeway isnt all that bad....if you go there at 7am, otherwise its like shopping with all of the last minute shoppers on Thanksgiving/Christmas day who forgot to get something. They usually have 2-3 lanes open and sometimes the lines are halfway down the aisle. Its way too busy, the parking lot is even worse! They need more lanes open during their busy hours (which is pretty much 3pm-close).

Needs improvement! Overcrowded and always a long line doesnt matter what time of the day it is. For the area its in a little expensive compare to other Safeway in other locstions. Better maintenance of keeping it cleaner. Need more cashiers and active lines open. Bakery not always fresh and in the Fish / Meat department it has a bad smell in that area.

They habitually have minimal lines open, making checkout an extremely long and frustrating experience. Additionally, their customer service line is always open but the employees working that checkout stay behind the mirror glass until you ask a bagger to get them. They really take advantage of being the only grocery store in the area.

This Safeway would have been any normal Safeway had it not been for its lack of cashiers. They hardly ever have enough cashiers so the lines are always long. They also dont have self-checkouts...this I dont blame them. There are just too many people who steal that come there. But they should really look into adding more cashiers.

Great service however avoid fried chicken at all cost it is disgusting I bought it two times have to return it to times completely ridiculous cut in old nasty smelling oil is absolutely her Rendas tasting and seems like its tail or has been fried in some nasty old oil no no seasoning no taste horrible

This Safeway always has the longest lines. Sometimes halfway down the aisle. Shopping here is a nuisance. The staff, although always minimal, is very helpful and kind. A cashier named Alan helped me pay for a couple items I was going to have to put back and it absolutely made my day.

As I stand here still waiting for someone in the bakery it has been over 30 mins and still no one went to customer service told me bakery is open .waiting again called the store from the bakery still fuc*kin waitin no coverage while someone is on their lunch break Sincerely pissed Off

I continue to come here because it is close to my house. Otherwise I would go to food co on Atlantic ave. The problem I have with this Safeway are the long lines. They are way too long and for the high prices of Safeway already there are excuses why they should not have more cashiers.

I got the breakfast burrito from the deli department. I called in my order to Jennifer and it was ready when I came to pick it up. It was really good. It had sausage, yellow egg, swiss cheese, potatoes, and chipotle. She had a killer upbeat attitude and always does a great job.

It takes forever to checkout at any time of the day. It always looks understaffed and shopping at rush hours or late evenings is an adventure. There is lots of parking available and the neighborhood is safe enough. The employees are nice but not easy to find them in the store.
