One of the best locations in San Ramon to shop for Indian groceries. I am local to San Ramon and had to travel long distances to get my groceries as there was no good Indian grocery store around. I one passed Bollinger Canyon Way and walllaaa there it was. The management is super friendly and the place is clean as my own apartment. It just says that a customer will be more than welcomed and will be made feel home. The rates are cheaper than any other Indian Store around and I am hooked to this place. You might find me almost everyday there after work or spending a good lot of time speaking with the managers Khushbu, Krishna Bhai, Mrunal and Tiku Bhai. Fun loving people and I have become friends with them in just few visits. If someone asks me to write a paper on these nice people and the clean and convenient place, I am sure I will earn high accolades. Thank you for making it convenient for all the Indian Folks and I appreciate your nice spirit and friendly nature to make me feel like home

DUPING & CHEATING STORE. Cheaters in the purest form right how the name suggests. Got sashta dosa batter from these guys in the evening ( receipt attached ) opened it right now saw a small puncture on the seal got a bit suspicious & found that the some portion of the original batter has been removed & water has been added. The batter is all frothy & completely liquid. Usually the price at most stores is 7.99 but over here its 8:49 thats fine If they were not cheaters. Come on guys theres so many ways you can make money but cheating on batter is a new low, I feel ashamed & embarrassed that you are an INDIAN grocery resorting to these cheap tactics. Patel Grocery : You are a forgery store trying to dupe customers and selling probably the batter in a different package.

During my grocery shopping at Patel Brothers, I noticed a charge for an item which was never purchased and was a result of their creative billing :) When I brought it to cashier (Mrunals) attention, rather than apologizing he shrugs off and shows attitude. I also spoke about activities like wrong billing, over charging and selling expired stuff in their isles creates bad customer experience, The response I hear is there are too many customers and he doesnt mind losing some :) I am surprised to see such attitude and wonder how such people are still in business. My 2 cents to you folks, if you shop there please check your receipt before leaving the store.

They have shifted to a new bigger location, few shops away from the old location. Pros: They have maximum variety of products as compared to other 2 in San Ramon. Now they have few Patanjali products. Cons: Almost all of their products are costliest in Bay Area.. Their vegetables are not as fresh as you can expect. This is typical Indian stores. As usual with all Indian stores in Bay Area, here as well, DO CHECK THE RECIEPT BEFORE STEPPING OUT. I have faced 3 instances in 3 years, where either the charges were incorrect or there was some other charges which I never bought.

Good enough for a quick stop...they expanded so the cluttered store has improved but the front staff needs improvement...Ive witnessed heated exchange between patrons and the cashier when theres a line. Sometimes you just have to evaluate and keep your priorities right....Not a great experience for the rest of your customers...I really try to minimize my interaction and my visits to this store.

The guy was not very pleasant. Went to buy a single item and there was no one at the counters and I needed Hina (which was on the counter). He told me the price and asked me to go back into the queue. I went back and walked out of the store. Lot of negative energy

Store has expired food items. When you complain about it to the staffs in store they just turn a blind eye towards it and are very rude to customers. I would advise you to look before you buy things. These people are not trust worthy.

I didnt quite like it. The vegetables are not fresh though they say they get them 4 times a week. I find some of the products are pricey as well.
