This is the only grocery store in town so theres not really competition! In saying that they do a great job having good sales and a good selection there is several things we use to buy when we lived in the city that you wont get there but its isnt detour in us away from the great items they do offer and the sales they run weekly. The meat is usually good priced and taste fresh and good!

The thing I love about Hays Grocery is that they still carry your groceries out. It is the only place in town to shop so the prices arent competitive with, say Aldis or Walmart however the convenience of not having to drive 25 minutes makes it worth it for supplemental shopping. The meat dept will also slice fresh steaks, pork chops, etc. Bakery is great.

Cute little local store Im not from the area I was visiting in-laws but anytime we come We always come here the staff is always super kind are caring taking our grocerys out to the car for us Ill always shop here when in town.

The Baggers and Checkers are always cordial and helpful. As a disabled person the stocking staff are very helpful to me always with a smile. I havent had much interaction with Mngmt, but I assume they are just as nice.

Almost everyone is friendly and I always get good customer service. Sometimes the produce can be ify though such as strawberries. But overall produce is good. The prices can be a bit expensive.
