I went into the store to buy a book yesterday at around 8:00 pm. While I went to pay for it, the cashier asked if I should really be reading this book. She then proceeded to ask my mother if she had read the back of it. She then said "Yes, were judging you". She continued to go on to ask how old I was, and if the book was in the teen section. The book was, indeed, in the teen section. However, regardless of what the book was, I expected the staff to uphold a standard privacy. I found the cashier rude and the whole experience unsatisfactory.

Went in to grab coffee and a broccoli quiche before work. The drink was fine but a few bites into the quiche I noticed a fruit fly on the quiche itself and one flying near my drink. My office has trash taken out twice a day and there were no flies upon my arrival. Pulled the quiche apart some to discover another fruit fly deep in the quiche. 0/10 will not return to the cafe.

Was in there yesterday to buy a record as a gift and needed some help as I did not know the band too well. Chase was very knowledgeable & helpful and suggested a particular album by Black Sabbath. Sadly I had to go to the NLR to buy this gift last minute, but I feel confident that my friend will like the record! Thanks Chase!

Even though I dont have that much time to read novels anymore, I enjoy coming here to get things for the kids and to wander the aisles anyway. I can always find something to get. The kids love their own section with the Thomas toys they can play with, and I love the coffee shop.

Dont count on any of the employees to be around when you need them in the music section. Twice now Ive been ready to purchase something but cant because no one was in that section at all and you cant leave that part with your item.

Very good book store. Everything you need. Sometimes hard to find staff around the store but can usually track someone down at the customer service desk. Ive had bouts of long waits to be checked out, but overall good.

Has a great energy about the place! Ive been to a dozen Barnes and Nobles through the years, and never thought twice about it, but the way they have done the Starbucks cafe here really is exemplary.
