Wow, the smell here is what every BBQ joint should aspire to. And the checker with the Rollie Fingers handlebar mustache is what every guy should aspire to. Bought the most beautiful big pork chops Ive seen in decades. Dont know how they taste, but they elicit anticipation. Also saw a package of green chile brats, and had to have them. My wife bought thick cut bacon for a special event she will be catering, and I expect to be amazed. Unfortunately, this is not the kind of bacon we were expecting, and it turned out to be more akin to bacon-sized strips of pork chop. This tastes nothing like you would assume bacon would taste like, and they should have relayed that fact. This is why they are getting 3 stars instead of 4. Every Saturday in October, they are going to be grilling & selling their fresh hot dogs in a bun for only a buck. Stop in with a loved one and gorge yourselves.

What an awesome, amazing little butcher shop. Its at the cross streets of "Way The Hell" and "Gone", a zillion miles from anywhere, let alone any freeway... Dirt parking lot, tiny little shack beside the road, and its not only crowded, its poorly laid out inside. And none of that matters a bit, everybody who makes the long drive and fights for a parking space and works their way inside to see the incredible meats and meat goods (sausages, brats seasoned and plain meats and cuts - seemingly dozens, scores, of each) will remember the place and be back again and again. Right now - all of March - they have $1 brats and $1.50 bacon brats, sold at the counter, with a few tables in the shade covering outside, picnic table style. Again, you grin through the ritual of fighting for table space, or go sit on some nearby straw bales, knowing that... Youll be back.

The Pork Shop is one of my favorite places. One of the few places worth driving to the outskirts of town to go visit. I started going there years ago after hearing about it from a friend. The only difference now is I buy way more things than I did the first time. Everything Ive ever tried becomes a must get the next time. Obviously you start with bacon. Amazing. Then try pork sticks. Great. Then it was brats and big dogs. Kung-Fu & Garlic bologna. Hard salami. Lastly, I just found out about fresh sliced sandwich ham. It came out of the smoker that morning and I have never tasted better. Its always busy and the staff is always friendly and helpful trying to get people what they need. If only a grocery deli was as efficient. Check it out. Make a morning of it and stop by Schnepf Farms or the Queen Creek Olive Mill on the way.

Ive been going to The Pork Shop for over 7 years and have never had anything but a stellar experience. Ive organized events that required hams and this shop really delivered. They even gave me recipes to make the event go better. My kids are in love with the snack sticks, and so am I since they dont make a mess in the car. My personal favorites are the green chile snack sticks, flat ham, jalapeno bologna, and green chile burritos. I dont understand how someone could give The Pork Shop a poor review. I saw someone say they bought a pork bone for a dog and blamed the store. Seriously? If you know so much about dogs, why not blame yourself? BTW, the issue has always been with bird bones. Also, I saw it mentioned that the service is "snippy". That couldnt be farther from the truth. I feel like family when Im there.

Best hams ever! We get our thanksgiving ham here every year. Customer service is awesome, they will accommodate even the most last minute order. I really only have have experience with their hams and like I said they are the best! HOWEVER, if you want your ham pre-sliced I suggest you repeat yourself a few times, or call to check back the next day and make sure that is how your order will be processed, for me their track record is spotty here, I cant blame thier level of service or commitment for this as if you go there you will plainly see the place is quite busy ALL THE TIME.

Never never never never do business with The Pork Shop in Queen Creek, AZ. They knowingly sell pork bones labeled as dog bones KNOWING that these are unsafe for dogs. When I called they said they have had other dogs that were injured in the past, yet they refuse to stop selling them. Heartless, uncaring and dismissive. Gizmo had a "treat" from this horrible place Saturday night and that is why she is no longer with us. Please pass this on. This is not someone who deserves to be in business and I dont want anyone else to go through what were going through right now.

We love their jalapeno bacon (not too hot, just well seasoned), sliced ham, pork chops, chorizo (the best weve ever had), and sage sausage cannot be beat (amazing addition to holiday stuffing). They have hot food but get there early, their ribs, baked beans, and burritos are all amazing & sell out quickly. We look forward to their dollar beer & butter brats every Saturday in October and March only. This is where we head for lunch after the Pumpkin & Chili Festival at Schepf Farm. Say Hi to Jason (and his mustache) for me!

This is tough love for a place I have always recommend. I order my usual 16-17 pound Easter smoked Bone-In ham. The Pork Shop Bone-In ham is usually wonderful. This years 2012 Easter Bone-In ham was terrible. It was absolutely with out doubt the saltiest ham I have ever eaten. It was insanely crazy salty. I was pretty embarrassed serving this to our family and guests. I talked up this "special" ham and the Pork Shop itself like it was my very own place. What happened? Loose track of brine time, or a new recipe?

The Pork Shop is one of the biggest reason why our move to Queen Creek has never been viewed as regrettable. The only thing better than the pork they sell is the employees they have to help their customers. How good is the pork? An answer would be that I have four friends that live 70 miles away and they still make a trip once a month there (excepting August, when The Pork Shop is closed for that month). Their bacon, Chops, and "Fat Tire brats" are among our favorites!

Best Meat Shop Ever! Lived in the valley for years before finding this place. I have had some of the BEST everything made of pork at this place. Their pork sticks, bologna, KC bacon, regular bacon, salami, big dogs, brats... I could go on and on and on they have so many varieties of things. I swear every time I visit this place I spend progressively more than the last time, which is great because it means they will keep making delicious food.

We bought our Easter ham here this year and it turned out wonderful. It was one of the best hams weve ever had. Will definitely be getting our Christmas ham here as well. The counter person was very friendly and helpful. The store itself smells amazing. The only thing that was disappointing was the size of the ham did not make enough meat for the per person per pound ratio, so we will have to buy a bigger ham next time.
