I walked into the store and the owner and an employee where chatting. They looked at me and then looked away to continue their conversation. I assumed they thought I was a regular, so I went about exploring the store. They have a lot of neat little trinkets. The walk-in humidor up front was a little small but had the smokes I was looking for. Its a lot nicer looking now than in the pictures on the website, so those must be pretty old. Theyve even got a smoking lounge in the back. My issue was with the customer service. I stood at the counter while the owner and the employee talked to another person on speaker phone. There was even another person in front of me that left without purchasing the cigars that he was holding, left them in the pencil holder. When I was finally attended to, they employee was very nice and tried to talk to me about everything they offered. I was in a hurry at this point and couldnt spare the time to hear it. They pay so little attention that a person could actually walk in there, scoop up some cigars and items and walk out the front door.

Ive been going around to a lot of the cigar stores around the Valley and Ive found myself a home away from home at Fumar. The selection has everything one needs, the staff is very knowledgable and willing to explain the various elements in the cigar world, the lounges (in the front, back and upstairs) offers three totally different settings at times so that the store can match individual desired atmospheres, the prices are fair and the staff takes care of you. If you arrive at the store and the staff seems busy, give them a little bit of time so they can run their multi-state business and at the earliest moment they can, theyll drop everything to give you the delightful tour or sit and smoke with you while making you feel like youve been a regular for years.

Cool building, but they didnt have the stick I wanted so the guy just rang up one that he thought was the same. I like to try new things so I let it slide. I sat down in the back and was having a good time untill the owner and his buddy sat on either side of me and started talking to each other. He went on and on about how much money he has and how he can get any woman he wants, how many buisnesses he has. "this little smoke shop doesnt even make money I just keep it open for a place to go"...What a douchebag. He asked me 3 times how much money I spent there. Needless to say I wont be going back. I had a much better experience at mojito cigars.

Fumar Cigars is an incredible cigar experience! You become part of the cigar experience at Fumar. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and patient with new cigar smokers. The new interior is presented in such a way that you can mingle with fellow enthusiast, or watch the game, or just quietly sit back and relax. I smoke because it is a relaxing experience, and fellow cigar smokers represent some of the best people that you will ever meet! The patrons at Fumar Cigars are always friendly, and I NEVER feel like a stranger there.

I reached out to David over at Fumar to help set up a Cigar Bar for my annual charity golf tournament. David and his team were AMAZING! They provided some wonderful options all in the price range that was doable for our organization. Showed up and created a beautiful display for registration, even provided custom labels for our sponsors. And then set the bar up again during our luncheon for a handrolled cigar bar. It was wonderful. Thank you so much for the great service and for helping us make a wonderful event!

Kind of an odd location for a cigar shop but it has a nice large lounge area, a smaller walk-in humidor, but it is stocked and full of a great selection of cigars at good prices. The employees and regulars there were very friendly and welcoming and I did not feel out of place the few times Ive been in there to sit back and smoke. If you find yourself in North Phoenix looking for a good place to grab a cigar and relax Id say this place is your best bet.

I am new to Phoenix and am searching for a good cigar store, I tried Fumar since they are close to my home. Boy what a disappointment. There were no other customers in the store, but the two employees I encountered were to busy to bother with me. The humidor up front was small and cramped. I understand they have a bigger one in back, but no one offered me a tour, details of the business or any suggestions. I left without buying anything.

Im only giving four stars because Ive never actually been here(dont smoke cigars). However I called around looking for pipe tobacco and David informed me they dont carry it but asked where I lived so he could recommend the best/closest place to find what I wanted. Very polite and helpful, even tho Im not a potential costumer. Goes very far in my book.

Al is the man, learned how to roll cigars here and Ive been a member ever since. Super chill, you can bring beers and food in if youre a member. They have poker games, comfy indoor seating and an great selection of sticks. A1 spot

I came for a quick cigar and stayed for the great people and conversation plenty of things to do from sitting to pool and shooting bb guns they will help in any way they can I go back when ever I can

Dude with a ponytail helped me out...and he was awesome. I have been smoking cigars for a while and havent found a place like this. Three $8 sticks (Joya De nic.) And got one free.
