Worst customer service so far. It used to be when you went in there they had a will call person. After I went in ordered my paint and was told it would take 1HOUR for them to color match and make it. After wasting an hour waiting for the paint I went back and stood at the will call desk while the guys in the back kept glancing at me without even a "be right there" then they came over gave me the paint and i had to go back to the desk to pay for it. Now as Im standing at the desk with product in hand, the guys at the desk did a great ignoring job, then finally looked up and started calling numbers, taking people around me. I had to say something and they made it seem that I was imposing on them to ring me up and get me on my way. After talking to a number of people, I have found out that this is the norm for Dunn Edwards. "On their time" seems to be the way they do business, customer service is only a factor when you order a large amount and even then, the business has to wait. If I did this to my customers I would be out of business.

Onsite designer - not every single hour, but every day. Ask the counter staff when the designer is in. This is part of your big advantage over the big box stores. Plenty of tables to sit down and spread out your photos, tile samples, other paint and figure out what you like. Other advantage? They only sell paint products. So are you confused about what best to use on your wooden outdoor chaise to preserve, protect and withstand weather better? (hint: Mink is a gorgeous Dunn Edwards color for furniture - very dark brown almost black). Should you use primer or not? How to prep the walls or your furniture? You may have to wait longer (depends on the time of day - it could be faster) than at the big box stores, but thats because the place is heavily used by contractors with big orders. But just decide, pay, order and pick up the next day, you know you want to go eat at one of the local amazing restaurants anyway right?

If you think that youll need paint for touch ups in the future, buy it now. I took the original can of paint back to this Phoenix store to purchase more ( original purchase was from this store also. ) for touching up, ( I wish I knew the guys name that so rude. ) He argued with me about the color !! I took the Original can with all the numbers on it, and he still said I was wrong. I bought flat paint, they gave me semi gloss. The color was two to three shades lighter. Second trip back I took a chip off the wall, rude guy said it wasnt big enough to match, he needs a big chunk of wall I guess. Not a good experience and I will not go back to this store. Next time Ill be going next store to Benjamin Moore When youre paying over $50. per gallon, you expect it to be right. Right ? Right.

Everytime i have a paint project this is where i go. I have a Home Depot 5 mins away but i prefer Dunn Edwards hands down. My most recent experience was with Dave who helped me with my bathroom project. Great paint helpful staff i recommend this store for all your paint projects

Visited the 233 E Camelback store today-Nathan helped me and he was awesome! He listened, provided multiple options and explained each option clearly. The customer service he exhibited was stellar, very knowledgeable... I will return to DE for future projects due to this employee.

Nathan was a lifesaver this evening. I am so thankful to him and his crew. (I wrote a long description about my experience but it seems that there was a problem with the upload. I will try to leave a better review again tomorrow after work!)
