I went to Famous Footwear at 401 E. Bell Rd location to look at some shoes. I did not find exactly what I wanted but the salesperson (sorry don’t remember your name buddy) told me that I can return the shoes within 30 day period if I do not wear them outside. I bought the shoes for 59.55 including tax. Same evening I went to Wal-Mart and found shoes that are more comfortable and nicer looking for just under $20. I tried to return the next day the shoes I purchased at Famous Footwear and even though I never wore the shoes, and had the receipt the return was refused. I spoke to the shift manager Nicole and she told me she does not care I how many customers the store will lose because of the negative review that I am going to post; she prefers the store to make the immediate profit of $59.55. I said fine and posted this review. I shop at Wal-Mart now and again, but I am not a big fan of it. Wal-Mart has never been the bench mark for good customer service, and if Famous Footwear loses to Wal-Mart not only in price, but in quality of product and customer service as well- Famous Footwear is in real trouble. I usually do not write reviews for the lack of time and mostly because I do not care to provide any feedback. But I think that the times when a store can rip you off and continue business as usual are over. Poor customer service in the age of social media will bring you the exact amount of traffic you deserve.

Attended the Home and Garden Show in Sun City where Famous Footwear had a display. They claimed I won the $50 gift card for their stiore. I never went on line to check the amount. After selecting two pairs of shoes from a limited sekection, I presented them at the counter and asked for A PRICE since the boxes were not marked. I also had the gift card, a $10 coupon, and military discount. The total wold still be $88! Then the clerk said she forgot the gift card. Okay, then I got an amount of $62.54. I"m thinking that would be for the two pairs. I run my card, then she says oh, you only wanted one pair. Then she does one pair (granted, it was the $60 pair. So she says she credited my account for the other $45 pair. I get home and try to figure out the receipt. I got $25 for the gift card which she did not give back. The $10 coupon was $4.50, when I checked my bank account, there was no credit whatsoever. I will be taking back those shoes and they can have their stupid gift card, coupon, and discount.

Better check your receipts before you leave. I was charged $10 more on 2 pairs of the same shoes. $20 more than was advertised. I went back the next weekend for a $20 refund and the price of the shoes went up, no longer on sale, and they wouldnt correct it. They said I shouldve came back the same night. Shop somewhere else with better management.

Went in and got some shoes showed her a coupon and said she couldnt honor the coupon and wouldnt give us a discount. Which was the only reason we went in. Dont go to this store. I would say her name but she had no name tag

Dont let them use spray guard on your shoes! It turns the shoes yellow in a few months because of that spray!!! Waste of money, never shop their again.
