My wife was just diagnosed with an ulcer in her eye. She tried to call a week previously, and when she told them her eye was in pain and watering constantly, she was told that she couldnt be seen for days. She ended up going to urgent care where she was given antibiotic drops and percoset so that she would be able to sleep through the pain. Days later the pain started to come back and she called this optometrist to get an appointment. They once again told her that they would not be able to get her in for a few days. When she pushed the issue saying that she was in pain they magically came up with an appointment the next day. Now that she has been in to see them she is told that she has an ulcer in her eye and that the urgent care doctor prescribed the wrong medication. They now told her that she will probably never have perfect vision again. All this because they didnt find some time to see someone with an emergency in the first place. When she asked why they didnt see her the previous week she was told that it is time for school to start and they are busy. An emergency eye problem, to me, seems more important than a child who needs new glasses. On top of all the problems with her eye, they also have a problem with understanding insurance poicies. I understand that most people have to pay a deductable, but that isnt how ours works. The employees doing the billing obviously cant understand that even after they have spoke directly with the insurance company. Our business will be taken somewhere else.

Had an appointment here in the summer and was told I needed glasses. When I went to get my glasses I could not see a single thing in them! I called them and went back and she changed it, I still couldnt see hardly anything and was told I had to than wait to go back for my "3 month check" went in and was told I needed bifocals and that I was gonna have to pay for them on my own when I have insurance and that my insurance wouldnt cover it. I called my insurance and they told me they would cover it, called them back and the lady told me she didnt believe me. But she would call them and call me back, she never called me back and I had to call them and she said just to come get my glasses and they will be covered now....seems pretty fishy to me!!!! And now I have this new pair I can barley see out of still! But ya know, id rather go somewhere else and have them listen to what Im telling them is my struggle and willingly pay just to have my vision finally corrected.

I am a health professional and more importantly a neighbor. I was referred by a physician to try glasses as a relief from headaches. So naturally seeing as Perfect Focus was my neighborhood eye care, I went to them. I know nothing of prescription eye-ware nor do I pretend too. Still that is no excuse to be snidely laughed at in a more disrespectful manner then the South Carolina Senator yelling that Obama was a liar. I even gave the secretary the benefit of the doubt returning a second time after getting my eye exam done at another business in an attempt to order lenses for an existing frame they had in stock so as to save a few dollars. You would have thought I asked for the answer of 2+2. Constantly smirked at as if I was an idiot for not knowing the processes of her profession was unbelievable. I have not been disrespected in this manner for a long time. The worst customer experience in memory.

I am so glad that I read these reviews and found Perfect Focus Eyecare. My husband had his appointment yesterday morning and it was great. We received great customer service from everyone and were very pleased. So pleased that we called back this morning to get an appointment for our 8 year old daughter and they were able to schedule her appointment this afternoon. Dr. Hoeppner was great with my daughter, explained absolutely everything that was being done and really put her at ease. I absolutely recommend Perfect Focus Eyecare to everyone!

I have had the same (strong) contact prescription for 6 years and this doctor refused to give it to me. After months of testing blurry contacts (every time I told her I couldnt see, she just gave me a weaker prescription), I eventually gave up. Although she never helped me she still got my money. Glasses prescription is off too, and I used to see an eye surgeon. Prices here are ridiculous for poor quality/fitting frames and poor service.

My family has been using Perfect Focus for the past few years. We see both of the doctors that they have. They are the only place that knows how to get the most out of our insurance. I would and have reccomended them to everyone! They are also very helpful when my son looses a part to his eye glasses which he does often! Our dog ate my husbands ear piece and they had a new one delivered with in a few days!

I have to add my voice to those who are less than satisfied. My family and I have been customers for a couple of years now and have spent over a $1000 dollars for contacts and glasses between myself, spouse and daughter. Yet they could not stay open for 2 more minutes for me to pick something up. Wow. If this is the thank you I get for our patronage, I will gladly take my business elsewhere. Bye.

Ive been going to see Dr. Hoeppner for several years now and I am very satisfied with her and the office staff. I now live in Maricopa and still keep my appointments because everyone is always courteous and professional, and I like how they, specifically Bob, take care of me and my glasses whenever Ive had a problem with them. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!! I have been going to Perfect Focus since they opened 4 years ago, and I always encounter the same wonderful experience. Dr. Hoeppner is very knoweldgeable and professional. The staff is friendly and always willing to help me with any question I may have. Their frame and lens selection is great, and I recommend this place to everyone.

This place is awesome! Everyone was friendly and kind. I did my eye exam today and they had my frames in stock so I got my glasses today!!! Great turnaround time, the doctor really cares and goes above and beyond to make sure you can see clearly. Im so glad I chose this place and I recommend everyone. They also have an amazing variety of brand name glasses.

Been going here for about 4 years and I have to say I have always been taken care of. Someone is always willing to help and its a very comfortable atmosphere. Everyone is able to answer any and all questions that I may have. Office staff are polite and helpful and docs are exactly the same. Thank you for doing such an awesome job with my family!

Dr. Thimesch seems to legitimately care about your health, something that is all too often forgotten at many other places. I also like that she is straightforward without being tactless. Techs and opticians are also quite friendly and helpful, without being annoyingly so.
