I love how Aldi has changed, and I used it frequently back when I lived in Miami. As soon as I moved to Madison and discovered there was an Aldi nearby, I added it immediately to my shopping list! This Aldi was nice, certainly because its new, but also because I was greeted by every employee I encountered and asked if I was finding everything alright. (So lovely to be back in the South!) Now, Aldi isnt going to be your one-stop-shop necessarily. What I find Aldi most useful for, personally, is to stock my pantry with canned veggies, their tortilla chips and salsa, and a few of their fit-n-active items. I can get $50 worth of stuff here for what wouldve been about $65-70 at Target or Publix. FYI, they now carry some organic and gluten-free items. I believe they also carry tofu now as well (dont quote me on this one). A FEW THINGS TO KNOW, HOWEVER-- 1. Bring a quarter. Youll put it in a slot on a cart to get one, but dont worry, youll get it back after you use the cart and put it back in the corral. 2. Bring your own bags, unless you want to buy them from Aldi. They dont supply you with bags for free, but Ive heard their bags are of good quality and can be used a few times. I have my own collection of reusable bags, so it isnt an issue for me. 3. NO CREDIT CARDS. Only cash or debit. Not sure about checks. 4. The store is literally a one-way maze. Its not designed like a regular supermarket, so if you forget something back on the first aisle, youll likely have to snake your way back to get it. Not much of an issue unless its packed, then in that case good luck!

In September of 2012, a booger saw put inside one of our orange soda container and nothing was done once the manager was called. We seized going until one night many years later, we went through the drive-thru where they totally messed up our orders and although there were minutes before they closed, they refused to come back to the window. During our absolute final visit a few weeks ago, we were asked to pull to the side and it seemed as though we would never get our order.

Great place to shop especially if you want to get in and out. Make sure to bring your own bags if you dont already as they do not have any. The reason that they do not get 5 stars is that the produce is hit and miss and I have found a few items that were out of date. The prices are very good which keeps me coming back.

Aldi is great. You can find some unique things and their store brand Fit and Active is usually great. They have weird money taking limitations and dont bag groceries for you. Dont forget a quarter to rent a cart, which youll get back when you return it.

I have some items that I will only purchase here. There are several organic options and gluten free options, which are nice. Good prices all around. If you want produce, go early in the morning as it is better in the morning than the evening.

You get what you pay for. If you want cheap prices, youll have to give something up. Here, its entirely based in efficiency. That saves costs, which they pass to you. Very low prices. Products- hit or miss. Mostly good.

Prices are great, quality of produce is best at the beginning of the grocery week, and customer service is poor. I have to separate my items prior to checkout so the cashier wont stack canned goods on bread or chips.

I can always find something that is incredibly inexpensive here -- anything from a gallon of milk for under $1 to a dozen eggs at 29c. Bring your own bag and have a quarter to borrow a shopping cart.
