They dont get 5 stars because they are overpriced on a lot of their name brand dry groceries however for a small town their produce department is good and often local their deli runs great in store specials on quality deli meat (kretschmar or Sara Lee usually) and I love their meat department with a good selection and good competitive prices. Plus the help is local and warm hearted and the store is always clean! A real seafood selection would be nice :)

Produce is terrible, everything is over priced, (coming from someone who usually shops at Bloomingfoods) and the food is often expired or very close to expiring. Just the other day I was going to buy a box of fruit snacks for my toddler and saw that the expiration date was August 2, 2013. I found them on the shelf November 12, 2013. This isnt the first time that I have found expired food, including dairy, for sale at Babbs. Terrible.

Help is always very nice. They employ a lot of students from Owen Valley and surrounding areas. The owner graduated from Owen Valley years ago small town business and very Community respected has been a great help for community businesses and very much involved. Prices arent bad for small town meat department is always good and produce looks always good. It is a trusted store.

I love the quality of food here. But the aisles are a mess. Nothing is where you would expect it to be. Tortillas are not with bread but with international foods. Mayo is impossible to find. No cumin among the spices

Always clean and friendly service. The bakery/deli is excellent. They had my daughters birthday cakes ready on time and better than I expected. Surprisingly wide selection for a small town grocery store.
