My time spent at Publix is usually pleasant. All of the employees are helpful and cheerful. However, my latest experience was all but pleasurable. I finished my grocery shopping and made my way towards the register to check out. Sydnee, my cashier, was engaging. She noted my new dress and carried on casual conversation with me. On the other hand, her courtesy clerk did not behave as such. He completed bagging my groceries in a timely manner but, as I was trying to leave, he asked to walk me to my car. I politely declined, under the impression that I would not have to refuse once more. I turned down his offer three times before the stubborn clerk placed his hands on my cart and persisted to escort me to my vehicle. Flabbergasted, I followed the presumptuous clerk to my car, all the while listening to him blather only about a past encounter with a client he had whilst in cosmetology school. Once we had made it to my vehicle, I opened the trunk for him to load my groceries. As if disgusted by the inside of my trunk, he expeditiously scrutinized the fact that I had fliers scattered in the back. I apologetically explained to the clerk why I had the fliers back there. I also casually disclosed that my husband was out of town and that this wasnt the car that I normally drive. In boorish tone, the clerk made it very clear that he had no concern for why I had placed the fliers back there. He also proceeded to point out that my husband should "get his own car". Rapidly, I snatched my purse from the cart and expressed my goodbyes. I am well under the impression that Publix courtesy clerks are trained to walk customers out to their vehicles, even if the customer says no. Nonetheless, the constant nagging and pestering from these clerks does not make me want to spend my money here. There are plenty of grocery stores (Kroger, Whole Foods, Sprouts, etc) that do not implement such a harassing policy on their customers. Personally, I do not feel comfortable with a stranger escorting me to my car. I am gracious that they offer, but once should be enough.

I pre-ordered a wrap on their website. I get the wrap and take it back to work. Open up the packaging....and there is the tiniest sliver of meat on it. It was basically a veggie wrap. I contacted the company through their website and it takes them more than 2 weeks to get back to me. In the end they offered to make me a new one free of charge (hence two stars instead of one) but I dont care to have another sandwich made from their deli if they are just going to make sure it is loaded once after someone complained. It should be made well consistently, not just when Publix deli thinks they are being judged. I had problems previously with the quantity of meat they put on their sandwiches and wraps but this was ridiculous. I also got to only each that "veggie wrap" for lunch that day due to work schedule. I wont be going back for any of their goods or services.

Serving in the military, it can get hard moving a family from place to place while looking for the everyday things that make life easy. A new mechanic, a barber, church, movie theatre, or grocery store. Im from Texas and for me, I love H-E-B. In all my years in the military, I had never heard of Publix. Ive been all across this country and I must say that Publix has the best customer service and quality. Also, if anyone has ever lived in Japan, youll know that no one beats the customer service and quality in Japan. Publix reminds me of my time in Japan. Keep it up Publix!

This is one of the smaller Publix stores, so the selection is not quite as large. However, they certainly have the essentials so this store can handle most any grocery requirements. What they have that makes them rate five stars from me is an outstanding staff. This site has the friendliest and most helpful staff of any grocery store I have EVER visited. The people there are genuinely friendly and not just putting on an act. While there are competing grocery stores closer to me, I go out of my way to shop here.

Publix has the rudest customer service of all grocery store chains, clearly they dont have any training. Old men cashiering with fingers in their mouth, barking one word: card!? Just wow. Every time I go to Publix the employees are so negative and seem to hate the customers and their jobs. Only Publix. Additionally, food is overpriced, and lower quality then other chains like Kroger. Their produce is always moldy, yet more expensive then its well kept counterpart Kroger.

Dont bother going ! Every week there are at least 2 things on my list that they are out of. Shelfs are never full stocked. Always end up having to go somewhere else to finish my list, might as well start somewhere else! Also, their products are always changing, if you find a name brand you like, they will stop stocking it and replace with another name. Ive been shopping there for years, but today was the last straw! Im done ! Hello Kroger!

The staff is always friendly and more than happy to help find an item. They dont tell you what isle they actually take you to the item and make sure its what you want. Also if by some chance they are out of a item they are more than willing to check in the back. Their prices are also comparable to nearby stores.

This is the third time in 2 months, that I have bought something from their deli that was not fully cooked... I wish I would have taken a picture of the chicken.

It is a bit on the pricier side for supermarkets in the areas, but the quality is very good. They have a bakery, deli, and a good wine selection.

Good customer service, prices are a bit higher than Target or Kroger, but the location is much better for anyone living on Zierdt Road.
