The worst experience shopping at a grocery store ever! When my largest bill is for food because I choose to buy organic healthy foods I would at least like to be able to go through a checkout! Not only did I have to use the u-scan....the Man was horrible to me and my family!!! He was rude, harrassing, and lied about sending a manager when asked for one. The Man that was sent who was not a manager was rude as well! Beyond rude and the other employee proceded to come back and harrass more! As me and my family started to walk out he said he would call the police and escort us out....I had simply said I wanted a manager. I wanted to get my trash stickers still and they said we could not purchase them at this time, this being after they had told me before the would have them waiting! This is the second time with the same employee! There have also been more than a normal amount of rude employees at this store!

I shop here all the time and havent really had any issues with it. They have a wide variety of foods, produce and deli meats, its always been clean and inviting, and the staff are helpful if you need them. Plus, the food isnt too expensive for a big retail store, and their card saves a ton of money with sales and deals so definitely sign up for one if you plan on shopping here a lot (its free!). One star off though because their deli counter might be the slowest ever. I hate to berate employees, because theyre always nice enough, but it will literally take over 20 minutes to get just one or two types of lunch meat. I cant possibly tell you what takes up all that time. Its absurd. So if you want deli meat (which is infinitely better than prepackaged meat), be prepared for a wait. It can also get pretty busy on weekends, which makes maneuvering carts somewhat difficult. Fair warning.

We shop at the Seminary Square Kroger on a regular basis and visit at least once/week for our major grocery shopping. Today, we met Josh, the most delightful cheese connoisseur. We typically browse the cheese selection near the deli/produce and randomly select something new and different and try for the week. We were greeted by Josh who has a real passion and knowledge for the products he represents and a fantastic approach to customer service. Josh shared with us insights into various cheeses - some were his suggestions and others we simply inquired about. He offered samples without us asking and even assisted with wine pairings. We are now home and each of his suggestions were spot on. Ill definitely be on the lookout for Josh in the future to benefit from future recommendations he can provide. Thank you Josh for making this the best grocery shopping experience Ive ever had!

The enlargement and renovation done on this store is impressive, making it a much more pleasant place to shop than in the past. The expansion in the deli department alone is remarkable, now offering, in addition to traditional deli fare, sushi, cheese and (if I remember correctly) olive bars. The staff have been friendly and helpful. I am encouraged that Krogers thought enough about the neighborhood to make a major investment in their store. BTW, I have never been hassled in or around the store. I follow the crime reports in the HT (I think you can check the statistics online). I read of few assaults nearby. The reports are mostly of arrests having to do with drinking.

Standard supermarket with standard selection and prices. It compares to Stop & Shop and Dillons, but is not quite as nice as Weigmans (and is completely different from Bloomingfoods and Whole Foods). While no longer deserving of its old affectionate nickname "Kro-ghetto" (due to renovations and expanded healthy options), this location remains a very different experience and vibe from the College Mall location (nicknamed "Kro-gucci"). What I like most about this Kroger is its convenient location right on the B-Line Trail. It also has a bus stop right in front. And it is across the street from the post office.

Kroger at College Mall is my "go to" store. However, in recent months, there has been a decline in the service...maybe a new manager? The folks (cashiers, deli folks, etc) who work there are great. BUT, this morning, I spent 19 minutes in line. 19 minutes at 9AM on a Saturday morning. Of course, I had to bag my groceries, too. Two lines opened and one bagger. Cracked me up when I saw on this site that people typically spend 20 minutes here. Maybe Whole Foods will be faster! I do like Kroger but they need to get a little smarter about getting some more help for their workers.

Locally known as "kroghetto", however since their recent renovations, the name is less fitting for the better. Their selection of products has improved since then including their produce section. The beer and wine section is decent for a grocery store as mainstream as Kroger; youll find many craft beers, but not as big of a selection compared to most liquor stores. Overall, Id recommend the the Kroger on college mall, but this Kroger does not fail by any means.

Meh, I shop there because its close to my house, but they have a limited selection of some things. Its a Kroger. It has some food and some booze and some household items and a pharmacy. And its the Kroger where youre most likely to get stabbed in the parking lot! They recently rearranged the store so just when you got used to their janked-up layout, they janked it up even more for you! Have fun finding your favorite brand of toothpaste NOW, muahahahahaha!

Of the Krogers in Bloomington, I like to refer to this one as "Kroghetto." Its close to town (and the closest place to my new apartment) but its...depressing. Going there makes me sad. The lights seem to make the place dimmer, the parking lot tends to be ratty, and the customers tend to be the saddest looking people Ive ever seen. So I avoid it, to go to Walmart, which is slightly further away, and obtusely, much less janky.

Tend to shop here on occasion. Yesterday I had my worst experience yet as I was denied service at the deli. My wife and I just wanted an order of potato wedges, but almost everybody behind the counter did not know how to make them. One employee named Josh said he knew how to make them, but said he simply did not have the time to make them for us. Needless to say, I will not be back.

2 forms of ID needed to purchase alcohol. You must state the zip code on your drivers license to pirchase. If your like me and have moved a few times in the your cant remember what address is on your Id you are refused sale. Im 28....thats right you can provide 2 legal forms of ID and be refused sale while in your craft beer t shirt lol. A chashier on a power trip

Good selection and friendly staff. Plus this Kroger has a hundred other things going for it once you get inside, like the bistro, a mile-long deli counter stocked with great options. Having said that, I always seem to get burned on produce at Kroger, which isnt an issue at other supermarkets. Still, for price and convenience its hard to beat.
