This is an excellent store and I have been shopping at it for at least 10 years. It is a "right-sized" store. It is large enough to have a good selection, but not so large that you have to pack a lunch and a change of clothes to get from one side to the other like at the Kroger "super" stores in and around Bloomington. Also, being middle-sized, you get to know the cashiers and if you chat with them they remember who you are when you come back in. The staff goes above and beyond to locate items in the storage area when the shelf space for the item shows no product. Just for the record, I have NEVER had a mis-scan at any Marsh store and the savings with their loyalty card are real. They also have a great website where you can "clip" coupons and send them to your card. Then when you buy the item (up until the coupon expires) their IT system automatically credits you with the value of the coupon at the register. Before you march into a Krogers like all the other "sheepeople", try the Marsh store on Kinser Pike, or the east store (which is approximately the same size) just off 3rd Street on Kingston Drive.

Theres a cashier that has been there a long time because of that thinks she is entitled to be rude (@has looked in my purse every chance she could get) and has been on the phone with people in the office saying offensive racial comments discriminating against a certain nationality (that she assumes I am part of) whispering (loudly)"They all take things that arent theirs, even our jobs.." I refuse to go back during the day when she is working because she said this in front of my youngest child, him not hearing her was the only thing that kept her outta the hospital and me outta jail.

Significantly more expensive than Walmart and Krogers, slightly more expensive than Target. Fantastic variety of fresh fruits, veggies, and meats. The floor always needs swept and cleaned. The shelves are frequently in need of being stocked. Employees are friendly-ish but clearly not very positive nor excited about being there.

In a great location for quick grocery trips if you live on the north side of Bloomington. If you use Bloomington Transit there is a 1 Route stop that stops right by this location. Trash stickers are available. I like their bottled spring water because it is sourced from springs in Bloomfield, IN and Urbana, OH.

The manager on nights was extremely rude he was yelling at an elderly man. Then he yelled at my wife when I was in line paying for our stuff she went over to ask him a question he said I know your husband you guys live in Martinsville . I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS MARSH AGAIN I PROMISE!

Whoever said good prices obviously has never shopped at Walmart or Kroger, their prices are terrible. Only pros to this store are the hours being 24/7 and the store having almost everything you need. Usually understaffed and too pricey. Would not recommend.

The store is always in good condition. Displays are always laid out nicely and there is decent selection. The biggest downside to Marsh is that their prices are not as competitive. If Im going for a large grocery list Ill go to Kroger or Aldi instead.

Marsh is in the process of going out of business. The staff were very friendly and helpful . The main problem for Marsh is their prices are not competitive with other stores in the area. But I grew up with Marsh around and I will miss it.
