I have to let all customers know, NEVER use the Banfield pet hospital at this location. The so called caring staff is only concerned about what money they can con you into spending. I purchased a dog wellness plan that required a monthly payment with a one time membership charge. Well that sounded great for a second. I started taking my new puppy for shots. This is when the Con started. They will take much longer than told for your animal to be cared for at appointment at which point they contact you and say something was found but can be fixed in 15 quick minutes for some random charge around $60 each time. For example I was told my new puppy who had just been seen by a different Vet a few days prior (received an excellent bill of health) had severe ear mites but if I payed the $45 fee could rid them forever guaranteed. Well guess what, the next visit I guess the girl forgot which con they pulled on me and said the same thing when I called to find out how much longer until my puppy would be ready to pick up. I informed her of what occured at the previous appointment and she basically told me it was my choice if I loved my puppy enough that $45 was nothing. Well unfortunately my dog was kidnapped during a home break in and we no longer have him. I tried explaining this to the woman at this location and she said I still would be charged for the remainder of a year which was not made clear when I choose them for services. I told them I could not afford to pay for something when they were not providing a service. I never heard back from her. Well this week a collection agency started harrassing me & I have been informed the pathetic excuse of a company is trying to charge me well over $300. These people do not care about you or your animal. They only want money and will ruin your life with harrassment until they think they have sucked you dry. If you dont believe me then dont be suprised when it happens to you.

Purchased a dog pad holder online. When I went to the store to purchase pads they did not carry the size required. So I did a return, which they had issues trying to complete because it was an online purchase. I was only able to get store credit. I was given a register slip with a return amount and a gift card number but no gift card. Being that they did not carry the food brand we use and my dog was old and passed on we had no reason to shop there for anything. Today we went and tried to use the credit and was told it was too old for them to honor (8 months). And they asked for the gift card, witch I was never given. So basically I lost out on the money because they sold an item they did not support and did not do the return correctly and beware that the gift cards for returns do not have much of a life span. I usually do not post negative comments but this was poor business from the start.

I was excited to come check out some things (toys and chewable mainly) for our puppy we got many weeks back. I asked a lady in front where something was located and she told me where to find it.. going back to check out (same lady) .. she took complete advantage of seeing I was buying puppy items and went on to ask if we had a new puppy. She was trying to sell me the $20 booklet and went on and on about how I need to change dogfood. I have a hard time telling people no and she almost made me feel obligated to purchase this book. Our vet has never mentioned anything about my need to change dogfood. I have felt bothered ever since then about this as I ended up buying it and regretting it. If I go to a pet smart, I will not return to this one.

thank you HAPPY TAILS RANCH(in hampton cove on 431) for fixing my dog after petsmart was "not able to complete his haircut". not only did petsmart claim my dog was too difficult to finish, they also claimed they called and left a voice mail letting us know. we did not have a missed call/voicemail and after calling 3 1/2 hours after his appointment time to check on him found out he had been sitting there for 2 hours because we NEVER got a call. so i left with my dog half shaved. HORRIBLE service. amazing how even after a bad experience at petsmart my dog did just fine somewhere else, and always did fine when i did it myself. says a lot about the experience of the "groomers" at petsmart.

Some rude employees, they clipped my younger dog nails till they bled an did not take blame for it I will never allow my dogs to get their nails clipped here, I only like maybe 2 vets that work there the tall thin black lady an the short bald white man he always try to make me purchase unnecessary items the lady doesnt she RECOMMENDS items some of the receptionist suck they look like they dont enjoy their job, one ofem treat other dogs better than the rest I think the plans have are pretty good for the most parti would recommend them to anyone but please pay attention an be warned

They lie about how far out they are booked, to sound like theyre in more exclusive demand. And turnover has been ridiculous lately. Yet one customer who shops in PetsMart, possibly more than once weekly, has said that he gets hugs from a few of the groomers every time he and his dog walk in, and he hears of the groomers pulling in more than $800 per week each, working or not working whatever hours they want. This is all silly

Everything except their grooming people and the vet is worth your money. The grooming people cost my mom $250 at our veterinarian because they cut her one of her boxers nails to where it bled then said it couldnt have been them. Those grooming people were the only people that touched that dogs nails until that point. My mom now has me take care of her boxers nails.

I dont know about services, but they have a good selection. But DO NOT BUY from here. It is HIGHLY over priced. I saw a cat toy for $20 there, and $10 at Lowes. I only go there if I need something pretty specific. But usually I buy off Amazon.

Weve had great service every time! Our puppy gets his trims from Ms. Karen. We love the way she treats him. Would recommend her for a first time trims/cut. Store gets crowded on the weekends so you must have patients when waiting in line.

I liked it here. Enthusiastic helpful employees seem genuinely happy to work there. Petco has grumpy old people working there, that would rather play with the birds than check you out.
