Most of the negative reviews of this Petco are over its grooming department. If you take your dog to be groomed here, youll see why. Despite ordering the same service both times, my dogs have been groomed differently each time. Thats not a huge concern to me, as I groom the to manage them blowing their coats and dont really care about a haircut or shave or anything. But I do care about my dogs care being treated like car maintenance. Where I drop it off and its parked at the back of the lot until its worked on. They crate your dogs until they get to them, if theyre running late, your dog sits crated. My dogs are large, high energy breeds and become anxious at hours of crating. Petco had previously accommodated this by scheduling my appointment as the first of the day. Though it was six hours before I heard anything the last time, despite being "first". This time when i made the appointment I reiterated needing to be first in. I was told 10 AM. I asked if it wasnt earlier. I was told repeatedly, 10 AM. I arrive at 10 to be condescendingly told that Im too early (they scheduled me for 10:30), that they wont even touch my dogs for at least an hour (already off schedule). When I pointed out they were to be first I was rudely told "the first appointment is 8 AM" and "we take the first dogs we get" (yeah thats why I called to schedule being the first dogs) either the person scheduling just lied or did not know. The lady was unapologetic and offered to reschedule me to next week. The manager offered nothing. Theyve lost a grooming customer. My dogs go in first thing in the morning to somewhere that values your animals like THEYRE ACTUALLY A LIVING THING. I dont mess with businesses that shove their mistakes off onto their customers anyway. And really, I dont want to leave my animals all day with someone as rude and hateful as the woman working in grooming. Literally go anywhere else.

Absolutely awful experience with grooming today! He doesnt even smell clean! Very poorly washed! I dont think he was barely touched with shampoo! And on top of a couple other experiences with the "groomer" before I even left him..(I honestly wish so bad I would of listened to the red flags!) I made very clear he didnt need his nails trimmed because he just got them trimmed last week at the vet.. (where of which he will only get a bath from here on out) she cut them anyway!! And his toes are so sensitive now, his toenails are so uneven and way too short! I am terribly upset... Its an awful feeling. Hes pitiful.... Never ever! Take your babies there for them to groom. This has made me never want to walk back through the doors honestly. So... You can say I learned from my horrible mistake and wont be returning to that petco!! I am so upset! Darla Ioia

Friendliest service at a Petco to date! I will admit it is smaller than others that I have visited, but I really enjoyed my experience. I was looking at cat food and a woman asked if I was finding everything okay. I said yeah, just checking out the sales, I just adopted a cat. She said hold on and came back with a coupon book just for cats! Now, others might know about their cat coupon books, but I didnt and I really appreciated her help. She even went over some of the foods in terms of quality. When checking out, the cashier realized their were other coupons I didnt know about for two of my items and she took a few minutes of her time to find those to help me. Excellent customer service! They had Christmas cookie style dog treats at the front as well, making it smell like a bakery when walking in. I will go back for sure!

After taking my two morkies to this location I will never return again, Ive used this petco several times and they have obtained a new groomer recently. I figured I would give her a try since Ive only had pleasant experiences here in the past. Boy was I wrong! After giving very detailed instructions on what I wanted I was very surprised and horrified at the results of their grooming today. One barely looked like he had been touched and the other had been shaved bare of everything but her face. So without my permission this so called "groomer" chopped and shaved away my precious pups hair who now looks like a jagged ridiculous mess. I am positive Ray Charles could have done a better job! BEWARE and spare your animals the embarrassment and your wallets the waste of money.

I used to love this place, but Im not spending my money there anymore. They have decent products and fairly good prices, but their staff are rude. Several times Ive been in there and the staff have talked down to me like Im an idiot. Yesterday, some rude young twenty-something was being hateful acting like I was inconveniencing her by being in the store. Then she was facebooking up at the register. Some of the other employees dont even acknowledge you when youre checking out. They just tell you the price and dont say thank you or anything. I left the store and went to spend my $158 at petsmart instead.

Ive gotten my dog cut here several times. He HATES getting cut for some reason. Petco has been the only people to not call me back until recently. The last few times I have bright my dog here. He looked a hot mess. I wish I could post a picture. He was literally half cut. They shaved him bare around his body but his feet and everything else around him was untouched. He looked like a retarded rat on crack. Now I dont know where else to take him. By the way, they still charged me for his ugliness!!

My little dog "snapped" at guy and he refused to groom him. Really. You should know you never come at a dog from the top...always the bottom. Ill never go back. This was the 2 ND time. I was going to give them another try. The first time they did a shady job. Nails uneven, didnt remove hair groom ears, length of hair was different all over. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Great store: good prices and knowledgeable friendly staff. Excellent dog grooming service--call for an appointment. Huge selection of dog and cat food and all pet accessories. They do not sell dogs or cats, but they do host a weekly event at which you can adopt a homeless dog or cat. They sell reptiles, birds, and fish.

The staff that I worked with was completely rude and uncaring. Also as a perspective customer for a bird, not being allowed to hold it is completely unreasonable. They dont hold their hand raised conure and dont let potential buyers hold it. I guarantee it will be depressed and mean within a month.

The groomers are worthless. They claimed theyve been trimming my dogs nails but the vet says they havent been trimmed in at least three months. I trusted the staff was doing what I was paying them to do! Wont ever take my pets there.

I love the staff and my babies are always well taken care of. The manager of the salon is always friendly to me and my pets. Highly recommended also they have a strawberry cream scent thats unavailable anywhere else
