After moving here from out of state we decided to give them a try since our old Petsmart worked well for our dog in the past. The groomers working when we dropped off our dog werent very attentive when we arrived but the groomer assigned to us repeated back what we wanted on our dog so we felt she understood. My husband picked her up when she as ready. When he arrived all of the employees were arguing and complaining about a coupon a previous customer had used. He knew our dogs cut was not what we wanted but he did not feel comfortable bringing it up with the unprofessional way they were talking about another customer and ignoring him. When she came home, I inspected her and found long chunks of her hair on her underside that were not touched, her tail that was supposed to be shaved short, was left long, sections on her back had spots that were uneven, her face was to be shaved leaving the whiskers but they only attempted (very poorly) to blend the face with the neck which is not what we wanted anyway. It was the worst looking cut she has ever had and she gets shaved the same way every 3-6 months and is almost 5 years old. I submitted a complaint online and they responded immediately saying it was being forwarded to the store and to expect a response in 3-4 days. Well over a week later the store manager, Ron called and profusely apologized and wanted to make it up to me to try to earn our business back. He offered me a full refund and told me his best and most senior groomer, Elka, would be calling me back that evening or the next day to schedule a new grooming to fix the issues. I was impressed and considered giving them another shot. That was about 4 days ago and I have heard nothing from Elka. I did go in and get the refund, which the manager on duty Karen, handled quickly and pleasantly. Even if Elka does call at this point, I think we will just move on to finding a new groomer. I appreciate the efforts offered by Ron but I dont like being promised one thing and under delivered.

I am the type of person where if I pay an extended amount for excellent service then that is what I expect. I just dropped $120 on both of my shihtzu pups only to have them shaved head to rear end because of " how bad the matting was" when honestly they were able to get the matting out of BOTH of their tails just fine. Its not like they were matted to the point of dreads. In fact, I have been to a vet groomer from my home town with my pets in the SAME condition and they at least were able to de-mat the ears! If I am going to pay this much for a quick job like this then I can do it at home myself or pay $35 for my home family vet to do it (nails included). At least they would try! You have the tools, use them and if you are going to keep my pets for 5 HOURS then I expect SOME sort of effort to be put into them. If not, charge a different price because as I said, I am paying for service and styling, not just a cut and go. The only reason I give a 1-star is because the groomers were nice people. If it werent for that, it would be a ZERO in my book.

I have been to this Petsmart a few times to get things, and I really like the store and enjoy browsing cause they have a lot of cool and helpful things in stock. Plus I like the convenience to go and look at things I need and be able to buy it and have it right then than over the internet. But I would have to agree with Courtney that a few of the sale associates there are very socially awkward. Not all of them, BUT it is the weird ones that make a lasting impression. I would rather see someone who looks nice and half way cares about their appearance. I have been in there occasionally and I wont even bother asking the associate for help because of their demeanor. The store itself I would recommend going to, and there is some very helpful people there as well that have given me a lot of good advice and helped to pick out great items for my pets.

I asked on the phone how much a bath and nail clipping was: $25. When I got there I was told $25 was just for the grooming, and it was another $12 for a nail clipping. I was annoyed, but not the type to fight something like that when I drive all the way out there and scheduled the appointment ahead of time. Meanwhile the employees seemed really inattentive, they all seemed like they hated their job. Thats not the service I expect when I pay an outrageous price for a bath and clipping. I guess Petsmart is cheaping-out and underpaying their employees, in which case Ill never go there again. I should have gone somewhere local in the first place. I dont blame the employees, I blame the corporation. I wont go there for the same reason I dont go to Olive Garden or Ruby Tuesdays.

I ran out of dog food and my local PetSmart (Hoover) didnt have my dogs brand. Our next best option was to check this store, which was 15 minutes away. I had about 30 minutes until they closed (this was on a Sunday) and we sped that way. I got there with around 10 minutes to spare only to watch an employee closing and locking the doors. Looking in, an employee simply mouthed the words "Were closed" while moving her hand across her neck (more like a "cut" motion than a throat slash). A simple opening of the door and saying, "Sorry sir, but were closed for the day" would have been acceptable, but I didnt even get that. Plus they closed early. I suppose you dont want my business in the future, so I wont be giving it to you.

Went here to buy a Betta fish for my son..After walking around aimlessly for about 20 mins, I was approached and helped. The guy in the fish section was extremely helpful at finding me the best deal on a tank and other necessities. However, after much research, I dont agree with him that its fine to keep a betta fish in a tiny bowl without a heater and filter. Anyway, he was still an awesome help. The woman at the register, however, was a huge crab. I get that youre stressed out and having a bad day, but sheesh! Be kind about taking my $ and say " thanks" at least.. And while youre at it, itd be great if you could nicely place my breakable aquarium in a buggy instead of slamming it down on the floor for me to pick up.

Very Difficult Staff, Im the type of person who calls ahead when I need something that isnt "off the shelf" in this case it was dog food. I was told my vet needed to send over a prescription (which I knew) after they received the prescription they tell me their store doesnt carry the brand specified (which they said they did) and I have to get another prescription, it literally took 15 minutes (and me loosing my temper) to simply get the name of the brand they do carry that meets the needs of my dog. Finally I get the information, call my vet, get another prescription and they sell me the wrong food. Horrible service.
