Tire developed bald spot and side-wall issue on Natchez Trace at Tennessee River. Didnt have spare in RV. Googled "bike shops" and thankfully, Shoals Bike Shop popped up. While a 30 drive to get there, it was worth it as Jim Darnell, owner and vintage bike enthusiast, had what I needed which allowed me to do what I headed south from Ohio to do: enjoy the warm March weather and ride. Lots of cool vintage bikes here.

Bought 2 used bikes here 3 years ago! My hubby and I have ridden them all over the USA, as he is a truck drive and we do some traveling! We bring the bikes back for their yearly tune up and keep rolling! As far as were concerned, this is THE/ our bike shoppe!

I had a broken rim and was looking for a reasonably priced replacement. The owner was great and got me fixed up in less than 15 minutes. Very nice guy and reasonable prices. Lots of used bikes for sale as well.

The guy is extremely helpful and inviting. It has an old school feel and reasonable prices. Both super high end bikes and budget bikes are sold used. Repairs are quick and cheap.

Needs high end bikes. Only carries sun bikes which are bottom of the line. Very friendly folks though.
