My sister and I came in for Mothers day to get an upgrade on my mothers phone. As soon as we walk through the door we were greeted real quick by a solution specialist Kris. He offered us a bundle with the phone which was great, but then disappeared in the back for a good 10 mins saying that he was going to check our plan out. He came back out and offered us another thing which I believe is called the Verizon Hum? Something to do with cars and said that it would save us money. I did not mind that but after I said no thanks he kept on pressuring us and pressuring us to get it. Saying that it would save us money. I repeated myself at least 8 times. It got really irritating. After he realize that we didnt want it he took us to the bundle and pressured us to buy the bundle as well. I repeated myself again and again that my mom will not use any of the items and that I only wanted the phone. The original deal for the bundle was $100, but after rejecting it multiple times he dropped the price down to $70! Like what the heck? Why didnt you do that in the first place? Thats how I knew that they didnt want to save you money. If they kept on dropping the prices down. So I decided to get the bundle so I can stop hearing him talk about the deals and selling us more things. When we got to the check out table he tried selling us a tablet as well! Saying the tablet was only $50, but then you have to pay for it monthly. Serious?! So how am I saving money. I rejected it again nicely. But it was definitely getting annoying. I had to hurry up and just get out of there before I started yelling at him. I understand that Verizon will do their best to serve their customer but they need to teach the specialist that no means no and to stop selling! It gets really annoying and irritating. I dont think I will be coming back to this location. Thank you.

Words can not express how deeply angry I am with the staff of this store. I was assured by not one but two different salesmen AND a manager that my pre-order of the Galaxy S7 would qualify for the Samsung Gear S2 promotion. I made certain to ask on several occasions, and was told the same thing. Well, Samsung approved my submission, but for the goofy VR goggles, not the S2. When I questioned an employee about this again, I was told that they still believed that was a qualifying purchase. Two hour long phone calls to Prize Logic (the company handling Samsungs promotion) later, I am told that is indeed NOT a qualifying purchase. They further informed me that Verizon was well versed in the details of the promotion despite their constant hiding behind it being Samsungs deal. I was lied to on three separate occasions, signed up on the more expensive (despite what they tell you) device payments, and now not eligible for the promotion item I had my heart set on all so a salesman could make his commission. I hope someone from this store reads this and takes some ownership for this debacle, but Im not holding my breath.

This is one of the most bizarre stores Ive ever been to. Its basically a shrine dedicated to the holy image of Verizon almighty. There are at least 20 employees wandering around, each with their own specific goal to sell you some kind of product (they seriously had a fake gym to promote their lackluster sports-wristband things, as well as an... elderly-recruitment seminar). I was waiting to be helped, and some random salesperson just sat down next to me, touching me on the shoulder (as if we were pals...I was there to terminate my contract. FYI: dont ever have a problem with their service. If you sign a contract with them, they basically own you. You are with them till the bitter end. Period.) Anyway, the place is a circus. If you hate stressful environments, avoid this place at all costs. Ive never felt so uncomfortable at a store in my life. A word of advice: just buy a cheap, unlocked phone, and get a no-contract service, like MetroPCS, or straight talk...youll save soooo much money. Seriously. They use the same towers, and theres zero hassle, and you wont be chained to a corporate hog like Verizon.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. This store has upgraded its facility at the expense of customer service! The girl who was assigned to me was incredibly rude to me and just couldnt be bothered. She didnt look into my account. She didnt even look at me when she was talking. I was looking for options and she said regardless I would be increasing my bill. She said I can either buy my own phone or not upgrade at all. I said, I will need a new phone. She said you can always put one of our crappy phones on your account but its still going to increase your bill. I was more than disappointed with my time there. I have gone to this store since I came to Verizon, many years ago, and it always has been fantastic service. Today I felt as if I was annoying the sales rep and she just wanted me to leave. And so I did and I will never go back to this location. And I will be telling everyone how terrible it is. I went to another location and upgraded my phone with no issues at all. Very disappointing.

yea switch to them and they will pay off your old carrier lol! what a Joke this is. i switched from ATT to them and still having to jump through hoops to get my gift card after paying off my final bill from ATT . then you have to submit this and submit that online to get it done . going to store tomorrow and me and the Manager will talk for sure . also when i switched over to them told the guy i wanted to keep my old number he goes no problem then ports the wrong number by 1 number off. so ended up being there over 2 hours and back the next day till they fixed it. after this phone is payed off im back to ATT for sure

What a bunch of lying snakes! They told me I would qualify for the free Gear S2 watch if I bought the S7 from them, but that was not true. I spent five hours in this store trying to get the issue resolved and was basically told that I was SOL. They are apparently the busiest Verizon store in the country, but I think it is only because their customers have to come back multiple times to try to get resolution on the staffs misinformation/screw ups. I witnessed at least 10 people that were there because they had a problem with a previous visit.

If you need help this is the store to go to.I live in Dover and would rate the New Philadelphia store a zero and Canton a ten.Maybe its me but the New Philadelphia store people have a attitude thats not friendly.Cantons people are friendly, smart about their products and very helpful.I just upgraded to two smart phones and really appreciate the helpfulness kind customer service we got in Canton store. They have enough people also so that you dont have to weight a long time for a customer representative.

Would give less than one star if I could. Called the store and a representative apparently didnt realize he had answered the phone and said "Youve got to be f***ing kidding me" and quickly hung up. Tried to call back and the phone was answered and immediately hung up. This happened multiple times until a woman named angela answered. Angela was actually extremely helpful and I would give her 5 stars.
