Check your bill of sale before giving this shop any money. I made the mistake of giving $8300.00 down payment to the owner James when I signed the bill of sale expecting to pick up the boat once registration was complete for a certain price. When I called to arrange pickup of the vessel I was told I could with an additional $1400.00 and sign a NEW BILL OF SALE. Long story short of explaining the police showing up, my bank worked for 2 weeks to reverse the lien and the registration of the boat back into Specialty Auto and Marine Centers name with the agreement that once done I would receive my money back. I called James to arrange pickup of the money since I no longer had a boat in my name or had a boat.... I was met with cursing, rudeness and the worst customer service ever EVEN AFTER BEING GIVEN HIS WORD that we would get this handled. I now have to go through the trouble and expense of attorneys and the media in order to get my $8300.00 back. WORST boat purchase experience ever!
