Ive been here twice to try and get some help with my Volvo. While the dealership is in a convenient location and seems clean and friendly, it isnt. The service department is unfriendly when it comes to walk-in customers and I wont be coming here again. It seems that Smith Volvo Inc. has forgotten that they represent one of the most trusted car manufacturers in the world and as a result, they are letting the good people at Volvo down. I love Volvo as a company and will always remain loyal to the brand, but I will never come back here, especially not for service. EDIT: Ok I just had my Volvo in here for recall service and I feel I need to change my rating. Although I have had terrible service here in the past, my most recent visit wasnt so terrible. While the staff wasnt initially too friendly, they got me an appointment and my car was done with no trouble. Also, it had a turned out tail light and the car was giving an error message. I think the tail light is still out, but the message is gone so I appreciate them taking care of that. Ill replace the light when I get to it. After all this, they are an OK dealership, but certainly not the most friendly I have ever dealt with.

We were very interested in an upcoming product and my wife and I both visited the dealership on separate occasions. I called the dealership and asked to speak to the owner as we know one another casually through mutual car hobby. After 2 calls more than a week apart NO return call. On the third call and asking for the owner specifically I was transferred to the sales manager. I asked why it took so many calls to get a return and stated if they cant get back to me when I am ready to buy, how will my ownership experience be and therefore I could not make a purchase there. The sales manager responded with personalized profanity which just blew me away. A week later I received an e-mail from the owner with more bizarre excuses and a left handed apology. Although they are the nearest dealership by over 80 miles, customer abuse and profane name calling just doesnt work for me.

I went here to look at their used car selection. An older white haired salesman (cant remember his name) asked me what I was looking for. I told him that Im just looking at whats available, at which point he referred to me as a tire kicker. I then asked if they had any compact trucks available. He laughed and told me Volvo doesnt make trucks. So Volvo doesnt make trucks, but apparently they make Hummers, Accords, Range Rovers, etc. Im not sure if the moron even realized that the majority of their used vehicles are not Volvos. Even though there was a vehicle of interest that I would have considered purchasing, I took my money elsewhere and ended up buying a nearly identical vehicle from a different dealer who actually cared about providing good customer service.

Horrible Custumer Services. In my opinion the salesman was very dishonest. I He lies . I wont ever recoment this place to anybody. Ej.I bought a Use BMW, then I took it the same day then he said to bring it to the shop for ditail because it was sunday, next day I took the car and he only washed. He said that they did details on the car when they got it.He was a full of shiet. Nevr ever buy nothing there. I could write a book about this car dealer nasty bussiness.

Ive had my Mitsubishi Evolution in here a few times for warranty service and regular maintenance. They have always been efficient and polite. Theyve always had a friendly demeanor and made me feel like they were going to take good care of my car. Their time estimates of how long until I get my car back have always been pretty accurate. They are going to get my business again and I would certainly recommend them to any other Evo owners on the Central Coast.

I have experienced 18 transactions with Smith Volvo. I have bought 3 Porsches, a Lotus Elise, a Mercedes E class, a GMC pickup, a volvo 960, a subaru legacy, and many other cars over a 35 year period. I personally call Brent Smith a friend. He and his staff have always treated me with kindness and honesty. I wholly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to visit the dealership and look around. They are not pushy at all. You will have a great experience.

Experience with Smith Volvo was great and I give it 5 stars. What I dont like is the fact I received a letter from Volvo and they sell/give your personal information to "joint marketing with other financial institions and to their affiliated everyday business purposes" and you cannot restrict this. Given this I am giving Volvo a 1 as this is a crap way to treat a customer.

Smith Volvo is awesome! I went in looking for a new car (not necessarily a Volvo), and browsed around the lot for almost an hour. The sales folks were helpful, not pushy, and ultimately, I ended up with a used Bimmer at a great price. I highly recommend them if youre looking for an honest dealership with a great selection of cars.

Be aware of their inconsistency when it comes to the prices of their car. We were very serious about a vehicle that has been listed on their website for over 7 days, called today with one salesman saying the price is correct, and a second saying I am wrong, and it is actually $1,000 more. Buyer beware, go elsewhere.
