Horrible. We purchased a package of 15 pieces. 3 of them were a sofa, love seat and corner seat. We asked EXPLICITLY how they keep the three together, and the salesman Drew told us there are brackets that connect them, "are you sure?", the answer was "YES". Delivery comes and they have no clue, called back their office, and they said "nope...they cannot be connected", after admitting what they had told me, they offer two options, (1) return it and pay 15% of re-stocking, or (2) come to the store and exchange it for something else. Never a "sorry we screw up", or any kind of apology, even after talking to the manager, Mark or Dave, I dont remember, who spent a long time explaining the sequence of events until I got frustrated and asked what he would do beyond the two options...obviously not sure he was the manager or the salemans buddy answering the phone...neither one sounded too experienced or professional. Last update (8/10): What it seems like the corporate office / administration of the store contacted me, listened to my complain, researched with the store, confirmed the issue, AND APOLOGIZED. I have to say, they were very diligent in following up after I have submitted my concerns in several sites, and completely made it up. I am very happy that this issue came to a satisfactory ending. I hope it is a learning experience to everybody involved.

Paul Dorn provided an excellent experience for us today. This was an unplanned purchase and we were looking for something more comfortable at an affordable price than what we currently own. We have four kids under eight years old and brought them with us into the store. Paul was very accommodating and patient with potential interruptions that would occur from the kids. He helped answer any questions we had and provided us with guidance to make the best choice for our family of six. Definitely will buy from Paul again! Side note for the store: the kids loved the store! We watch HGTV at home and Ashley HomeStore had the channel on and the kids were excited they got to watch! Thanks for all the help!

We had a WONDERFUL experience at Ashley Furniture HomeStore! We were looking for new living room furniture and Ashley had a fantastic sale running as well as many different choices! Our salesman, Mark Sellmeyer, was competent, friendly and patient. He was willing to move furniture around in the store to see if we liked the different settings and never rushed us. We actually purchased more than we originally intended because the atmosphere was so friendly, there were many choices and the prices were on point! Mark even helped carry our new wall art to the car for us! I would highly recommend shopping at Ashley Furniture HomeStore! ❤️

Dont expect your furniture to arrive when they say it will - it wont. Dont expect any return phone calls, even from the manager, you wont get one. Customer service is crap - only one person in the entire place is any help at all and she is at the service desk. Too bad she has to deal with cleaning up the BS that the salesman gave us and then make excuses for the lame manager "Joe". Way too much frustration for less than average quality furniture. I predict their lousy reputation will catch up with them and they will go by the wayside. Too many faults and no positives. I only wish I could give negative stars.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize one of your sales professionals. A few weeks back while at your east side location he helped me to select the right box spring and mattress. We arranged for a delivery time but there were complications. He took time to reschedule my delivery date, but also went one step further. He ended up being able to make a special trip to my residence to deliver my order a week in advance. All that said I would like to recognize Ben on his customer service and applaud you on having him as a valued employee. Theresa & David

We had just moved to Madison from Colorado and needed to get a lot of furniture; I was very specific about the look I wanted. Vitto was amazing! If I didnt see anything I liked in the store he would pull up the website for me and show me more options. He was very patient with me and really understood what I was looking for. He made this whole move 100 times easier for us. I highly recommend shopping at Ashley furniture they have great stuff and great staff!

I feel like they ripped me off for $300+. Mark (assistant manager) convinced me to try the most expensive mattress cover with my new bed. He did not tell me that it would turn my bed into a slip and slide and cause the sheets to not stay on. I attempted to return the mattress the same day (NO ONE SLEPT ON IT) and was told that I could not and was put of luck and my $300+. Please save yourself the hassle and do not shop with these shysters.

Worked with Ben Arm to buy a new couch and recliner and he was beyond wonderful. He was very informed and made the experience very easy and pleasant. Additionally, he brought a wonderful personality to the experience which made it that much just easier to connect and buy some great furniture. My boyfriend and I just bought our living room furniture from Ashley and we cant wait to have it all in our new apartment. We werent sure what we wanted when we went into the store, but our salesman Ben was awesome. He listened to what we wanted and helped us find the perfect furniture for our home. No support from the staff. Waited forever for someone to help. Tried to grab someone they pointed me to a kiosk and that was no better than the web page. Finally (30 minutes of waiting), got someone to help and they dragged me all over the store (which I had already been over) to tell me they did not have the desk I was looking for available to see.

Not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from - Ive purchased multiple items from here and had nothing but positive experience. My only issue is that items have to be delivered quite a bit down the line so the waiting time is a bit annoying but overall extremely pleased with the quality of the service and was happy with the customer service.

I went to Ashley to get a new furniture set and I just have to say pricing is good and the customer service is outstanding!!!! They are very accommodating to help you with what you want. I just want to add I worked with Paul and he was the nicest and most helpful salesperson Ive ever had. I highly recommend asking for Paul to help you!

There wasnt a thing that went right. From poor communication, false promises, failed delivery times (twice), horrible customer service, billing issues, and much more. Do NOT use them in anyway. Youll regret it just like I did. I do not recommend them to anyone, even people I do not like.

I had a great experience at Ashley homestore on the east side of Madison. The product arrived before the estimated date and the delivery folks were great. The sales associate was very efficient and accurate with the timelines. Great experience overall!!
