I special ordered an item online yesterday and my order has been cancelled today due to Menards falsely advertising the price of the item, and then not willing to honor the online price. Unfortunately, I sold a personal belonging of mine to afford this item because of the great deal that was advertised online, and today I get an email stating that the order has been cancelled due to their mistake?? Now I no longer own the personal item that I sold, and I am not getting the item from Menards to replace the one that I have sold. I have tried numerous times to contact the customer service, but they are refusing to resolve this issue. I am furious as a customer, and I will take my business elsewhere from this point forward. Myself, a few family members, and also many close friends have been loyal to Menards as customers, as a lot of us are contractors that purchase from Menards on a daily basis. I have informed them all of this situation. Thanks for causing me an incredible inconvenience!!

They sell cheap junk, but not at discounted prices. Last fall I bought a broom to sweep my driveway. The handle broke off the first time I used it. Bought a rake a few days ago to clean up my yard. Same thing. Handle broke the first time I used it. I did not abuse these in any way. Surely a rake should be sturdy enough to handle raking leaves. Also bought some boards to make a book shelf. I predicted the holes, but the wood split anyway. Almost all the wood they sell is warped too.

Had to reorder siding 3 times because they kept ordering the color wrong. When trying to get help about this issue the guys at the service desk were rude as hell!! Making it feel like it was my fault! I gave them the sample and exact color I needed.. not sure were the miscommunication could of been! Now I just ordered over $1,000 in doors and guess what!! Went to pick them up and they ordered the wrong door!!! Ill drive the extra miles and go to a Home Depot!!!!!!!

Never anyone to help you. You have to find the desk and often find 2 or 3 people standing around. Went to paint dept. Found 2 young people flirting with each other. The girl did help but quickly returned to the desk to twirl her hair Nobody ever in door dept. Took 20 minutes to find 3 dollar clips. I guess if it isnt a big sale nobody cares.

I needed help when building my addition on my house. They helped me. Every time I went in with a list, they helped me. I gravitate towards the folks who know about their store and they will give me the best suggestions and service. The Plumbing Dept folks are GREAT people. The Building Materials folks are just as great.

If I could Id give a negative star. IF you like to buy used products for full price than Menards is the place to go. Wish we had a home Depot so wasted my time. Again you pay for used/damaged/poor quality from this store. Better to buy Amazon they markdown or tell you when a product has been used.

I was looking for a "Combination square with a square and center head" and the store does not carry them. Extremely disappointing. I guess Ill have to order direct from Starrett Tool company. Maybe theyll appreciate my money more.

I greatly appreciate Nick from the Eau Claire West. He is always right there to help me before, during and after I shop. Im in a wheelchair and he doesnt even see it. He treats me like a person, not a burden.

I think Menards does a great job! It is rare I cant find what I need, and the employees are cheerful and knowledgeable! I feel kind of like a pariah, but I love Menards!!!
